    Flowers ordered February 1st for February 3rd delivery. Received this email on February 3rd at 10:00am... "Your order, (order # deleted), is being prepared for today's delivery. Your gift is being expertly crafted and delivered by one of our local shops. Substitutions are sometimes made if the shop does not have a specific flower type or fruit; every step is taken to create an exceptional gift of equal value. As soon as our shop notifies us that your delivery has been made, we'll send you a delivery confirmation email. Thanks again for trusting us with your business." At 2:10pm, I received a phone call, the woman on the line was offering me half off my next purchase or free delivery for this purchase. I had to ask three times before she admitted the flowers were not being delivered today, February 3rd. She continued to give me a sales pitch in an attempt to get me to accept the order arriving tomorrow rather than receive a full refund. When I insisted on the full refund, she told me she would have to put me on hold for several minutes, turns out, it was just another representative trying to talk me out of the full refund. Total scam. On the plus side, at 2:43pm, I submitted an order to fromyouflowers.com, they were delivered three hours later and are lovely.

    I ordered flowers and a figurine for my mother for mother's day. The total order came to $180.00. When the items were delivered, the figurine was damaged/broken. I reached out to 1-800-FLOWERS to request for a refund. I was appalled that they refused to give me a full refund, instead said they could only give me a 50% refund with $20.00 credit. That's just straight B.S. Here was our conversation: MCLAREN: Thank you for patiently waiting. We apologize for what happened with your order. I'm more than willing to process a redelivery at the earliest available time at no additional cost. Since we also want to make up for the inconvenience, we will send a $20 Savings Pass via email good for your next purchase with us. How does that sound? ME: No I'm not interested in replacing the product. please send me a refund. MCLAREN: I completely understand where you're coming from. Since you feel that you did not get what you ordered, I would be happy to offer you a 50% refund to your order with the $20 Savings Pass for a future order. Please allow me to do this for you. ME: No, I don't understand why I'm only getting a 50% refund???? Please explain WHY I"m not getting a full refund for the item that is damaged! We will ship back the BROKEN item. What would be the amount of refund you're referring to? MCLAREN: So the price is 39.99 50% is 19.99 ME: NO, I want a full refund! Please get me to a manager. Obviously you can't help me. MCLAREN: i think 50% enough ME: I'm appalled that I have to repeat a request for a full refund of the figurine that is not even worth $40.00. It was delivered damaged and ruined my mom's Mother's day. This is what I'll do for your company. I'll give you a horrible rating , I'll never order from your company again and I'll blast you on yelp. Then I'll call my bank to file a claim. I can't believe how horrible your customer service is... and over $40.00 which is pennies to the company.

    Flowers ordered

    I ordered a beautiful extra large bouquet for my friend who had lost her son and added the "Beloved Son" "ribbon." Well, the ribbon was a huge banner (a friend who saw the photo told me it looked like a sail) and the extra large bouquet was about 3 flowers and the rest filler and greenery. The arrangement was scant, hideous, and embarrassing. I spent $116 for crap. Even though the company agreed to re-send the correct bouquet, the damage was done and who cares whether or not they sent the correct bouquet later. I am just livid and heartbroken that my friend had to receive that POS on the worst day of her life.

    0 stars DO NOT ORDER FROM 1800flowers! My daughters father ordered me and his own mother flowers to be delivered yesterday (Mother's Day) He was charged and paid a decent amount of money only for this company to not deliver to either me or his mother!! The disappointment in my daughter (wanting and waiting all day for my surprise to arrive) and the disappointment I felt thinking he didn't do anything for me (the mother of his daughter) caused me to feel so hurt (I'm our 9 year old daughter's primary caregiver) This company's lack of following through with orders placed and paid for by their customers is disgraceful. Give him his money back for both orders that were never delivered (Luckily I have full recorded surveillance of my property so their "attempt at delivery" claims are 10000% BS! To add they have the absolute worst customer service that I've ever heard of! 1800flowers = shame on you for ripping off a bunch of customers who were looking to send the Mothers in their lives a nice and thoughtful surprise. Boooooo *If you're thinking about using 1800flowers --You've been warned

    Once again I received an arrangement from 1-800 Flowers that is awful. Shame on these florists that have the nerve to send out these arrangements. They should be ashamed of themselves! The picture on the left is what they were supposed to send and the picture on the right is what we actually got.

    If you are thinking about ordering flowers or plants, I encourage you to check for toxicity first. Do they have cats, dogs or small children? My local florist had 5 different plants but all of them were toxic to dogs. I know my friends have dogs, so I checked 1800Flowers. They had several safe options. I ordered the large 14-16" tall gardenia in an aluminum planter. The website showed it in full bloom for effect. However, I knew it is too soon for that so I was expecting greenery only. It delivered on time and it brightened our friends' day. They sent us a picture and it looks taller than expected. Once they transplant it, I'm sure it will flourish.

    Express Flowers 564 N Tustin St Orange, CA 92867, 714-949-9585, has a contract with 1 800 Flowers. 1 800 Flowers offers specific delivery times for an additional fee. I placed an order with 1 800 Flowers (W01005932960708) and paid an additional fee to have my flowers delivered today between 3:00 - 6:00 when I knew that someone would be home. The flowers were delivered early at 12:41 when no one was home. They left the flowers sitting in front of the house. I spent a great deal of time on the phone with 1 800 Flowers who was very helpful and considerate. They called Express Flowers. No one answered. They left a vm message and did not get a return call. I finally tracked down Express Flowers. A cell phone was answered by their customers service rep at 3:45 while she was driving with her two young daughters screaming in the car while making a delivery. She confirmed that their company did deliver the flowers and sent me a photo of the house. She did not have a photo of the flowers because their third party delivery company was not using the 1 800 Flowers app that they are suppose to use. She also confirmed that Express Flowers cannot control the time that the third party delivery company makes their deliveries. I explained to her that Express Flowers was out of compliance with their 1 800 Flowers contract. She offered to send me the owners email address, and then decided to end the call instead. 1 800 Flowers needs to terminate their contract with Express Flowers for non compliance. I have had good experience with 1 800 Flowers in the past, but I am not sure if I will order from them in the future.

    Horrible phone customer service. All calls are outbound going to china. You will never get your refund. Good luck - waste of time

The shop's refrigerator wasn't stocked with tons of flowers like many other florists I been to in the past. There were carnations to the left of me when I walked in, some lilies on the counter and some hydrangeas on the floor behind the counter but I didn't notice any roses. Would I shop here again? Maybe ... if I'm in a pinch but I don't think I'll be ordering $50 bouquets again from here. I may not shop here anytime soon but I'm wishing the Village Flower Shoppe continued success in 2021!

The day of the wedding we walked into the venue and the most hideous bouquets for the girls where sitting there waiting for the brides maid and flower girls. The owner said she decided to change the bouquet for us she thought it looked prettier. You be the judge. I left a bad review on Yelp, the owner called and wanted the bad review removed. We wouldn't remove it. I recently looked on yelp to see their reviews, and my review was take off. I felted compelled to put a review back on because I want all brides to be aware of this flower shop.

Upon our first meeting with Marlene, that was 100% the case. She was able to walk us through every type of arrangement we may need and help us determine what could possibly be repurposed throughout the day in other locations of the venue in order to make the most of our florals. She made suggestions that gave us a lot of confidence in Verbena. Fast forward to our centerpiece sample meeting - oh my gosh. We walked in the office and I was BLOWN AWAY by the arrangement. I had previously sent Marlene 3 totally different inspiration photos of 3 very different things and she was able to not only get my vision but execute it better than I pictured. (To be clear, as someone who wanted white florals, she really understood that I was looking for something classic yet a little unique and the arrangement was just that. Classic, timeless, but unique.) After that meeting, for the next 5 months, Marlene was extremely responsive and helpful. The day of the wedding though was when I was most impressed with the entire Verbena team. All of my ceremony florals were being repurposed for the reception. The Verbena team executed this transition during cocktail hour but you'd genuinely never know that because I didn't see them at all. I'm still wondering how they managed to totally transform 2 spaces without anyone seeing them!! It was incredible. Literal magic. All of the florals were gorgeous. Every detail was executed perfectly. I am still so thrilled with my table scapes. I just can't get over it. Verbena was awesome and I truly can't thank them enough for being a part of our day.

They also were able to use a piece of my wedding dress (cut during alterations) as the ribbon on my bouquet. It looked gorgeous on it! I was bummed though seeing brown spots on the white roses and on some of the boutonnières. **After our bridal party entered the reception the Vineyards put all of the bouquets lined up on our sweetheart table! Multipurpose!!

This occurred back in December…read more We all know, if a business says they cannot execute an idea, do not say you can do it and utterly disappoint the customer. My brother-in-law had preordered flowers (for specific flowers, my sisters favorite) 3-4 weeks in advance, he spoke to who I believe is Micki and he payed in advance and Micki confidently said he can execute the ideal. On the day of my sister anniversary which happens to be Christmas eve, I go to pick up the flowers, and omg the flower arrange looks NOTHING like the photo. NOTHING. I was shocked, I was so confused, and Micki goes we ran out of flowers, and then talks to to his coworkers oh yeah he order in advance but making a bunch of excuses, trying to act as if these flowers look similar to the photo... to get me to buy them but it did not and I wasn't having it. It's a flower shop... and we ordered specific flowers in advance? How do you run out? It was so unprofessional. Why I'm making this review? Because if you lie and make unfilled promises it can really impacted someone's plans, especially on someone's wedding anniversary, when we gave you enough time to execute. We last minute chose a bunch of other flowers. Super dissatisfied and disappointed when looking back. Safe to say never coming back especially when this place is highly rated and far out of the way for me.
