Talk about a brunch spot!! Gorgeous decor, warm and inviting and very friendly staff. Came in on a weekend and snagged a seat at the bar (long wait times FYI). Very disappointed with my experience at this establishment. Today was my third time eating here and probably the last. Came here with colleagues and they felt the same way. I got the fall in love salad. It's supposed to have warm quinoa, radish, corn, shrimp etc. I have attached a picture of a salad that looks nothing like it. There was barely any quinoa, not to mention cold, and roasted corn in the salad and a total of three cooked not blackened shrimp. For $20 I expected lunch sized salad not a side salad. I pointed it out to the server who in turn offered to bring extras on the side. I mean if I wanted to make my own salad I would've got one from home. I wish they did better than this. The last time I was here, all the toppings from my fancy scramble were missing. I let it slide thinking it was an off day, but today's salad was inexcusable. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes to share and woahhh I could've finished an order myself from how good they are - so fluffy and freshly made, everything was just perfection. Service was great, however the things we were REALLY disappointed in was the misleading advertising on the menu & prices that obviously didn't reflect the food & portions! One example: If you look at the description in the menu, specifically with my order "Roasted Chicken Salad" the way it's described you'd think it's a big bowl of romaine lettuce with shredded roasted chicken & plenty of the veggies in it, BUT what I got was a scoop (like a medium sized ladle type of scoop!) ..of "chicken salad" (it looked like tunafish salad & had absolutely NO FLAVOR, I kept salting & peppering it!) Then around that were 3 peeled off romaine lettuce leaves placed on my plate crossing each other, as the "bed" for the chicken..with halves of (about 6, I counted) HALVES which means only 3 whole little grape tomatoes were on my plate & 3 pieces (yes also 3 small pieces!) of roasted butternut squash were on my plate surrounding my scoop of "chicken salad"! I WISH I asked my friends to take a pic of my plate before eating it because my phone battery died before going to this place, I would have taken a pic of it! I showed them the menu & asked them "reading the menu, would you have expected this?" They all said "No"..then I was asked how much this plate was & they all said in shock "THAT's $20?!?!" Ask your server before ordering, what does your order, really look like. Unfortunately a pic of this order was not on their yelp either, it would have helped others. Also the consensus around the table was "Well at least the fries were good"..they seemed to be disappointed in their orders too. Sorry, we won't be returning based on the food and pricing. read more

Great spot for breakfast/brunch. Inside the restaurant it's decorated nicely and compliments the food being sent from the kitchen. Our meals were a perfect mix of easy (for kids) and tasty (for adults). French toast sticks were done nicely and easy for my son to enjoy - just had to remind him that the ketchup was for the fries and syrup was for the sticks. He accidently dipped the French toast in the ketchup once, haha. My older son enjoyed the chicken and waffles. He mentioned and made me listen to the crunch on the chicken and mentioned that the egg was perfectly cooked - runny yolk. Waffles tasted great as a compliment to the chicken and egg. The Italian was excellent and had a nice ball of burrata right on top. The parmesan cheese was the only part my wife would have left off if ordering again. She doesn't eat eggs so she ordered this open face sandwich without the egg (unfortunately). I believe the saltiness from the prosciutto was enough to satisfy her savory needs. I had the special famers benedict that had a sweet butternut squash spread with grilled zucchini beneath perfectly cooked (medium) steak, feta scrambled eggs and a cilantro hollandaise sauce. OEK was a nice place to stop and grab a bite on a Sunday afternoon. We opt to eat outside at the tables right outside this restaurant and the seating was pleasant enough. Service was good! I ordered the Maduro Benny and really enjoyed how it came out. Give this dish a shot, especially if you love cooked plantains! It was an awesome combo with chorizo and eggs! The home fries are a bit closer to wet mashed potatoes than baked or fried potatoes, so be aware of that if you order it. They tasted alright, but I don't like that style of potatoes personally. My wife ordered the Pumpkin Banana Bread Waffle special. She is vegetarian and we really liked the number if vegetarian friendly options here. The whipped cinnamon cream cheese was really good and waffle as well as syrup are on the sweet side if you've got a seasonal sweet-tooth. Hubby got the Belgian waffle which was dry all the way through and I got the French Toast which was a really thick piece of brioche that was crispy on the outside and dry on the inside. Will not be going back! It's so over rated. Wait is long and the restaurant is so loud. We were a party of three. Not two minutes after we paid the check a hostess came over and told us "We needed to leave, they had reservations coming in." We were not at the table 40 minutes. The same person had told the table next to us the same thing when we first arrived. I told the hostess "We were still drinking our coffees and would not be jumping up and leaving until we finished out coffees." We all found this to be very rude and agreed there are way too many restaurants in the area to be rushed out of this one.
