Results of feeling more confident with my firearm.
Cynthia T.

My husband and I drove to Outpost Range for the first time. We were a bit skeptical, driving down the long road. Once we arrived and went inside, we were highly impressed! Not only from the place, but also the staff. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and answered all of our questions. I am new to shooting so my husband and I decided it would be wise for me to take a one on one course. I met with Diane and she was the greatest! She was excellent at describing my gun to me, how it operates and helping me build my confidence with my firearm. If it were not for Diane, I would not have done as well. Most importantly, I walked away with the confidence I lacked. She truly is a gem! The grounds are very clean and they are VERY organized! I look forward to many more visits!

Such a neat experience. Outpost range really put a lot of thought into the shooting experience, decor and customer service. We were so surprised at what we found after driving down a long dirt road to get there to find a large, very nice venue for outdoor shooting and inside archery. The staff was also very friendly and helpful! Hope we can return soon!

If you're looking for outdoor shooting range this may be worth considering, the location is…read moresomewhat distant on a bumpy backroad but we'll worth the traverse. After passing a few forks in the road you come across a massive outdoor range with multiple lanes to choose from, well built and reasonably cool for Florida's muggy weather. Plenty of firearm options on site (if you choose not to bring your own), they do have vending machines on site as well as very friendly and knowledgeable staff who care deeply for everyone's safety. Out of any outdoor ranges this one surpasses many in it's atmosphere and overall enjoyment and would recommend to anyone interested in classes, just shooting, or community/veteran appreciation events.

If you want to learn to shoot or get a concealed carry permit and need to brush up on your skills,…read morethis is an excellent place to go! I had shot guns years ago with my father and later with a spouse, but I did not feel certain of my gun skills all these years later. I took the basic course for ladies held on Saturday. It cost $60 and was well worth the price. There were nine of us in the class that started at 9:00 am, ending about 2:30 pm. We were given facts about guns and the parts, the variety of ammunition, crime stats in Florida and proper attitude and care of firearms. The qualifying test is 15 yards and you have to hit the target 15 times. What is so impressive about this organization is the kindness of the rangers here. They know about everything there is to know about guns, but they were very patient with beginners. At the target, there was no "hurry, hurry, you have to get this done" in so many minutes. They were low-key and each student had her own ranger at her side to help if there were questions or issues. I learned to load a semi-automatic really fast and I now feel comfortable on something besides a revolver. If you are interested in getting a concealed carry permit, this is a choice place to go for training. BTW, their food is good too!

They were nice to me. They were very helpful. I think his name is Mike. He showed me where to sign in and told me their process. He made it easy for me to understand lol Then I had issues with my new firearm and asked him for help. The three men and the lady who work there were very helpful. I could go to Reload in Tarpon Springs which is more modern but they make you jump through hoops now for pistols after the suicide incident in 2016. I usually go to Shooting Sports in Tampa but they have become very crowded/busy in the last few years which is a good thing. I like Firing Line. You sign in, pay, go in. They do watch you and others while you're on the range. I plan to return again.

I've already taken a concealed class but learned which gun would be best for us and will soon buy one from them as well. The guys who helped everyone in the class on the range were extremely helpful and made this experience for my daughter a great memory. My boyfriend recommended it and set up the date and time for the class for her. He has to qualify for his job here, said it's one of best ranges he's been to. Glad we went. My daughter honestly cannot wait to go back and shoot.

Most recently purchased an optical sight and just heard that all was ready to go so I made an appointment. Going in soon for the fitting. As for the other poster's negative review here, seems he parked in the business parking area to go to the post office next door at their old location. Seems to me a little courtesy on the driver's part with the trailer would have worked. I would have walked into the business and asked if I could park there for a bit and return to do business with them after going to the post office. This person just assumed it was okay. The business owner did not know he would return to his business. A little courtesy and "common sense" goes a long way. Never ass-u-me anything.

He was very rude, I parked in his area with a trailer, I was going to go into his establishment after I went to the post office for my businesses mail, and he came out telling me to move my vehicle or else he'd call the cops. I told him I was going to come inside after I was done in the post office, he said I was blocking the empty parking lot, which there was no blocking of any sort any where. I have video and posted it all over social media already. I remained calm as he threatened cops, and called me a trespasser. As I left the post office, not even parked for 2 minutes. He just lost my business and hopefully, countless others.
