Great range with excellent range officers. Love spending time out there it's so relaxing. I'd go more but ammo too damn expensive! Nothing to do with the range but caution with instructors that promise a configuration can be done correctly. Research then look for assistance. read more

My new shooting spot. t's a gem out there. It's willing to help... The birms are really nice to go and practice. Whatever you want. They're pretty open to as far as what you can do as long as your practicing safety at all times.. they also have memberships that are pretty cool. I ended up paying $40 monthly and I can shoot as much as I want and also bring someone for 20 bucks to be able to shoot all day and also access the birms for training. read more

Julie and Trae were amazing in every aspect of the experience at their facilities. We did the gun rental experience and asked for about 8 firearms plus a clay thrower, which Julie helped greatly in organizing and reserving them along with answering every question we had before even arriving. Trae was extremely helpful in giving us tips on how to improve our shooting, telling us the proper way to stand and improved ways to hold the rifles. He was even helping us load the magazines so we could just shoot and not have to worry about reloading. I will definitely be back and bring back other people to their facilities. Doesn't look like much when you first arrive, but don't let that put you off. This range is more versatile, inviting, and useful than every other range I've been to, which is a bunch. I took a class from one of their listed instructors (positive review under his Yelp listing) and loved the facility. RSOs were present and kept everyone safe, but not in an officious or holier than thou way. I recommend you complete the waiver online as it seemed to speed my way through check in by at least half the time of the people who checked in before me. read more

Used to be a good place and people, for me, spent thousands there..only to be ridiculed, and supposedly banned, for returning a $13.99. Product.. and giving a bad review,.. and having employees, harass myself in other stores in the community, ( Sad). Made many attempts to try to rectify, but never a response, especially from "Mitchell, and Dan in which used to be highly recommended as trusted friends of the establishment,...All over $13.99 . BEST SHOOTING RANGE in Florida by far. The range is a perfect training facility for all shooters beginners to advanced shooters. Pocket berms, pistol ranges and long ranges. Trae has this range set up for the shooters he has steel targets throughout the property and it is set up for real life scenarios not just the stationary shooters. Super knowledgeable staff and all around great people I drive over a hour to shoot here and it's worth every second. You will not regret making this your go to range. read more

This is the range you have in your dreams. The simple 100 yard long gun area has steel to ping, or you can place a paper target. There are even a few bays that go out to 200, 300 and 400 yards on the main rifle area, for those who enjoy stretching out a bit. The Long distance range around back features 500 through 900 yard bays for serious long range fun. For pistol shooters, there are "pocket" berms that you can practice quick draw drills, and rapid fire, in a safe environment. Most importantly, it's a comfortable and pleasant place to be. The owners and staff keep the place safe, but are not heavy handed and authoritarians. The owners and staff are helpful and easy going. it seems to work well. I've never seen anyone who needed to be reprimanded for not being safe. Members and visitors I've run across are good people who mind there business, but never to busy to lend a hand, or a tool. This place is a gem. Ares has it all for the competition pistol through long rage crew, but it's not an intimidating environment for beginners. Florida sun can get intense, but most stations have cover. You might step in a cow pie, so wear your old boots, but that's the only thing close to a down side. I cannot recommend this place with greater enthusiasm. I'm only a few miles away, but I'd drive half a day, for half as much as ares provides. it's being built up, each year. I can imagine this place becoming a destination for lovers of the sport, from all over the country. There are very few places that can offer half of what Areas has. I am not an employee, or have anything to gain by writing a positive review. it's just a one in a million place. read more
