So seeing as I'm turning 40 in two years, I thought it would be smart to start planning my midlife…read morecrisis now. For me that means checking out some Harley's! My wife and I were passing by on I-95 and decided to stop in. This is a big/new store and the selection is great. They have a ton of apparel (for men and women), safety gear, toys motorcycles for the kids, even dog collars. Though we checked all of that out, that wasn't why we were here, we wanted to check out the bikes. I was concerned before we walked in that we'd get bombarded by pushy sales people but that wasn't the case. One salesman did approach us when we walked in and asked if there was anything he could help us with, we said we just wanted to look around. To which he replied "If you need anything let me know". That was it, we didn't get asked again by 5 other people, we didn't feel like anyone was hovering around us to talk us into buying today. They just let us browse at our leisure. I appreciated that. The bikes were beautiful and had great selection. I'll be back here to purchase my bike soon!

We are from Ohio and always wanted to stop at this dealership so this trip we did, I wish I would have never stopped and spent money here! After my comment, this employee would not speak to us or even thank us for our business. If you're looking for a friendly staff that opens on time, go somewhere else! And just so everyone is aware, my wife is also a Veteran!!

Savannah Motorsport…read more My purchase with this dealership has been the absolute worst buying experience of my life! And that is not an exaggeration. I typically do not write reviews. I have been treated so poorly by this company I'm taking time out of my day to hopefully save somebody else from the same headache, aggravation and loss of money. I purchased a used Harley Davison from this dealership, I saw the bike online and made the trip down from Atlanta to Savannah to purchase the bike. Looked at the bike asked questions to which salesman told me the bike had been through their shop, checked out and had a fresh oil change done. I'll come back to the oil changed because I may be mistaken, I believe he told me that the shop changed the oil. Anyways, they wouldn't let me ride the bike saying insurance would not cover it even though I already have full coverage insurance on the bike from my own Insurance company. The salesman drove the bike around the parking lot so I could hear and see it run. I purchased the bike, loaded it up and headed home. I rode the bike around for about 30 miles and noticed a ticking sound coming from the motor at idle so I decided I should check the oil. The oil wasn't even touching the stick! So, I reached out to the salesman and asked "hey didn't you say that you guys change the oil when the bike when it went through the shop" he said no, that the oil change had been done with in 500 miles of it being traded in. Now I'm not sure how he would know that, I asked if they had service records and they did not. I'm a little unsure at this point but just figured I probably misunderstood when I thought he said his shop changed the oil but regardless, should the shop have noticed it was low on oil?? For good measure I took the bike to my local shop, payed $100 buck for the shop to do a good inspection of the bike and let me know if it needed anything. Well when I got the call from the mechanic it was clear that it was never looked at by the shop at the dealer. It had an obvious oil leak that had been leaking for quite some time (not leaking a lot of oil at one time, certainly not enough to leak out between the time I bought it and when I got it to the shop), one of the signals didn't work, the heated grips didn't work, the air suspension will not hold air and it needed adjustments to the drive line, a new drive belt and the tires were out of date. And was going to cost me over $3,000 to fix 2 weeks after I paid $15,000 to buy the dang thing.   Well the dealer was nice enough to sale me an extended warrant for the bike. So, I'm thinking to myself "awesome, most of this should be covered under the warranty, I have zero deductible, maybe this won't be such a big deal. Nope! The warranty has exclusions and conditions and stipulations that made the warranty worthless. They denied my claim, saying they do not cover preexisting issues. I then careful read the contract and it was a joke, they do not cover anything. Okay so in the fine print I see there's 30 days to cancel with no penalty is other than a $50 cancellation charge. I called the dealership and left a voicemail for the sales manager, no call back so I tried the next day and got to talk to him I told him I want to cancel the extended warranty and asked if he was willing to do anything about the cost of having the bike repaired which he replied, no! Not even a "sorry you got screwed" He said he would submit the info to get the warranty canceled and to follow up the next week with him and he said the salesman had to do it so I talked to the salesman and he said someone in accounting had to do it and she was out of town. Seriously!!! I continued to get bounced around until the lady that cuts the check finally told me that the refund was made, and the check was sent to the finance company. Great! At least one thing went right. Wrong again! I asked how much the refund was and she stated that I was being 80% or original cost! Screwed again! Come to find out that the dealer didn't cancel the warranty until after my 30 days was up by 5 days. The warranty company is doing nothing they say it's not their fault, the dealership did say they would talk to the employees about how important it is to get those cancelations out on time in the future! So, to recap - the salesman lied about the oil change, lied about the bike going through the shop, 3 people were involved in the warranty cancelation and it still was not submitted in time. I lost $600 on the warranty deal; bike needs $3,000 in repairs. It cost me $3,600 more than the asking price to buy this bike and all the dealers is willing to do is....... absolutely nothing! I know every company is capable of making a mistake and giving bad service from time to time but these people (including the sales manager) had several opportunities to get it right or make it right and they continually failed to put any effort in doing so.

On December 9th, another email "any day now". December 17th, "by the end of the month". December 31st "they are going to over night it by Friday" (Jan 2nd). On January 8th "should be shipping to us tomorrow". During this time frame I have had to waste time getting an extension on my temporary plate, which expires in a few days and you can only get an extension once, so after that I am not legally able to ride the motorcycle that they sold me. In addition, I am having to deal with the Credit Union who is threatening to increase my current APR because they haven't received the title yet. So here we are, 71 days in, still no title, and only a few more days I'm legally allowed to ride my bike. My next step will be a lawyer, why should I pay a penalty and for documentation fees for documents I haven't even received and for a motorcycle that I can't even use?

I've had nothing but good experiences here. After a while these folks treat you like family. Vinny…read moresold me my second bike at this Dealer. He was incredibly patient with me while I went back and forth on deciding between 2 bikes. While I was getting the paper work settled he went so far as to tab ALL of the important information I'd need in the owners manual; from the break in period to the maintenance stuff in the back. He really went above and beyond, and I love my Breakout. The parts department is equally impressive. Didn't take long before I wanted to change some things to personalize my scooter. Rodney in parts is incredibly knowledgeable. When you are looking at replacing things he'll make sure you don't forget the gaskets and/snap rings that you may need to complete the job. While I primarily deal with Rodney all of the guys at the desk are awesome. I've also bought parts from Rudy, and he was great as well. These guys are either techs in a past life or they wrench on their own bikes. In my experience, they know their stuff. Finally, the service department. Fortunately, I haven't had to have much to do with service. Take care of your bike, and it'll take care of you. I did have the privilege of having the master tech, Allen work on a few things. I'm thoroughly impressed with how well he knows these machines. I can't speak on the negative reviews on here. Seems they were years in the past. I will say that if you are patient with folks they will be patient with you. Be courteous, and it'll come back on you. They are here to provide a service, and in my experience I've been met with nothing but smiles and professionalism. - Top Gun (BY)

This time I was told their master mechanic was coming to look at the bike because. I went to the dealership Memorial weekend to speak with Tim again and was told there would be bike would be done within two weeks. We are now in September so I had to get nasty. An entire riding season was about over. They had the bike 9 months. I was told they had test drove my bike and everything was fine. Tim did say they adjusted the carb, but since they didn't have the specs they did the best they could, but the bike drove fine. Due to the fact it took so long I was told the bill would be adjusted. When I went to pick my bike up my bill was only $132. I assumed it was because they had the bike for almost a year. I was on the highway going home when the shifter peg came flying off, the mirrors were loose, some bolts went flying off and the bike was still leaking oil. Savannah Harley-Davidson released a dangerous motorcycle with loose parts, leaking oil and a clutch that was so tight by the time I got home my hand hurt so bad I could hardly shift. After I got home I discovered NOTHING had been done to my motorcycle. After 9 months. I have every email they sent saying repairs were being done and they had take it out for a test drive to make sure the bike was good to go. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business's Bureau and I suggest that you all steer clear of Savannah Harley-Davidson.
