I just had my first Van wrap completed with Outlaw Graphix. This had been on my wish list for a while and with the purchase of a new van I decided to get it done. I contacted 3 local companies and the pricing for a partial wrap was similar. Outlaw was in the middle. Where Outlaw really excelled was in their response and service during the design phase. These guys are not only bad as Graphic design, but their customer service is is even worse. I contacted them for a very simple project, I had my own artwork already done for my racecar, and I just wanted some sponsor name changes done. I wanted to keep the same fonts and designs just change some verbiage and add some other OEM logos to the car. I sent them my files, a very detailed description of how I wanted things and pictures of the new logos. This should have been a very simple task for a "Graphics Designer" as all they really had to do was edit and copy rather than design. After I sent them all my info and what I wanted done I asked them if this was something they could do, they said yes, and then proceeded to take a deposit of 150$ after a couple of days they contacted me again telling me they needed more money because this project was taking longer, so I told them yes, whatever you need. Then a couple more days pass and they send me some proofs to look over. The proofs look like a child was using a computer and did some copy and paste work. Also, it was apparent that they did not follow my very detailed instructions on the email. I asked them to read the instructions again and send me a new proof, I told them they had missed a bunch of things and to please get those items sorted out before we continued. They said they did check the instructions again and didn't see anything they missed, so I had to re send the email, and highlight in red every single item they missed, which was more than half on my list. Then another week passes and they send me an email saying that they cannot proceed or finish my job. I told them that's ok just give me my refund and I'll find someone else to do the work. They then proceed to tell me they can't refund me my money. So, I paid these guys to do a very simple task, which was fully described in my original email, they agreed to do the job, then asked for a deposit, then a week later more money, and then they tell me they can't compete the job and won't give my money back. I dealt with Kaleen Stafford and Amber Castillo. I asked to speak with a manager beofre writing this review to give them a chance to make things right . And they did not. I will say that it only did they ripp me off, the quality of Work they provided was very low quality and childish looking. Even if they had competed the job they promised I don't think it would have be anything I would have wanted on my race car. THIS IS MY RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE. Please don't try and make this something that it's not, my original email clearly states EXACTLY what I wanted done. AGAIN, you guys read it all over and even asked me for the original artwork for some of the logos, which I told you I would not have for you, I told you that you could find them on Google and or you would have to copy or recreate them. You guys Stated you wanted the original artwork because you couldn't find. CleAn enough or useable sample so you would have to recreate them yourself costing a lot of time. The legality was never once mentioned until your last email because you are clearly trying to backtrack and come up with some sort of a reason why you cannot complete what you agreed too. Every "trade marked logo"on my car is either the name of the manufacturer of my car, companies who are building my car or companies who have given me parts to build my car and have done so because I a have agreed to put their names on my car. I know each of the owners or company reps for each of them personally. I have been doing this for a very long time and there is nothing illegal about it, This is clearly just a cop out and or an excuse that you have attempted to come up with in why you have agreed to a job, taken my money and then not provided what I have paid for. Please don't try and use this ridiculous excuse in response to my public reviews as I will call you out on it and I will make all of our back and forth emails public. The truth of the matter is, I don't think your capable of the high quality work that I need, you have already recreated several trade marked logos and they do not look good, they are distorted and not high quality, I had already asked you to fix them and clean them up, and that is when you responded saying you could not proceed to finish my project. This really is an extremely simple project, and it's really sad for you that you weren't capable of what's essentially editing some artwork. And then kept my money on top of that. Never once did anyone ever ask me for trade mark authorization or even mention this was an issue until you guys took my money and then told me you couldn't do the job with no refund. read more

I came here to get my decals removed. They asked for pictures of the van and we did the rest of the appointment through email exchange which is great. They did a really good job at removing all the decals. I dropped off at 8:30 and got the email invoiced at 1pm. I will recommend to others. One thing I would change though is their quoting system. They leave it open to 100/hr rather than 100/hr could be around 5 hours. Im not experienced in how long it takes to remove decals so a bit of a heads up on how much I was going to spend would have been nice. That is my only issue, everything else was great, the work, the people, method of paying. read more

Amazing Job and amazing customer service. I originally reached out to Outlaw for a potential wrap for my 14 passenger shuttle bus and the entire time Kaylene was trying to work with me. I decided to get my bus painted instead and add vinyl lettering to the paint. I reached out to Outlaw and Kaylene again in an emergency this time and needed the work done prior to an event the same week and once again she and her staff were more than accommodating. I reached out Monday and by Friday we had a finished product. I reached the minimum so my install was included in price and in addition she threw in the social graphics gratis. This company is customer friendly even going so far as to explain the difference in the prices and the material so that we can choose the best option for us. She absolutely under NO circumstances sent me any proofs whatsoever until this review came out...her response was SOLELY for Yelp readers benefit. The ONLY contact I got was this response the day after review posted and an email with what should have been sent during my emails to her to no avail. If only they were that responsible when it mattered to client and not themselves. Review: You would think that a company thats on the lowest raking on the car-wrap totem pole in LA they would treat customers better. I called up for an estimate. Spoke to Kaylene 2x. She was AWESOME and sooooo nice! I told her I would send her the email with a mock up of what I wanted and the vehicle. Im sure my job that was only the 2 doors of a mini-cooper wasn't that enticing but theres a thing called professionalism right? And when you are a small dolphin in a sea of sharks you take anything you can to grow, right? Clearly not. I sent one email, no response. I sent a second email, no response. Since I'm a benefit-of-the-doubt person and could assume maybe the email hadn't reached her (uh-huh) I called. She was not there so I left a message...no call back. I called a SECOND time, this time it sounded like an answering service and they said Kaylene wasn't in. I explained I had emailed 2x to no avail and this was the second time calling I can get some type of response about my car wrap, the operator even stopped me to slow down so she could write it all down. NOTHING, NO RESPONSE. So, It's clear they got the email (and calls) or they would have (or should have) rushed to let me know nothing was received and to verify email address. Clearly my car wrap job was too small for them to be bothered with and decided that ignoring a customer was less tedious. Appalling. I will not promote any other of the ethical car wrap places in LA because it goes against yelp guidelines but I advise you do a search on top 19 car wraps in LA. First off, I called in the beginning of the week, and a breath of fresh air it was to be greeted by a person and not an answering machine service. The customer service at Outlaw Graphix was impeccable and extremely efficient. Immediately we exchanged some information, and Kaylene understood exactly what I wanted. Within a few hours, she sent over proofs through a portal that utilized technology to the fullest to streamline the process. She answered any questions or concerns thoroughly, making immediate changes to the proofs as needed. By end of day, I was ready to seal the deal. She had even sent her guy to do measurements that very afternoon and I was told they did a very detailed and thorough job. Due to weather implications we couldn't install within 48 hours, but the very next day weather permitted, her team was already at my office doing their job.
