I live in California and searched for a florist who would deliver to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This order was special to us because it was a sympathy arrangement and we wanted to convey our sincerest sympathy while providing some cheer. I didn't know exactly what type of arrangement or colors I wanted, but I took a chance by ordering a Designer's Choice Premium Sympathy floral arrangement. I ordered online last night in California time and it was delivered this morning to the Outer Banks! Our recipient sent a photo of the beautiful arrangement and it was far beyond our expectations. Gorgeous flower selections with a beautiful uplifting & subtle color combination, all arranged with style & skill. Again, I am so happy and grateful to have found and selected Anderson's Florist.

Eric and Robert are so fun and friendly, very no-BS guys who tell it to you straight. They made the class super fun and we were always laughing. Given the time of year, there were only 3 of us in class so it was nearly 1-on-1 instruction. I learned so much! I came back the next day to pick up my mirror and was stunned at how beautiful it came out! Y'all got me into a new hobby! Thank you for such an awesome class!

I stumbled upon Absolutely Outer Banks a handful of years ago and I was impressed with the selection of locally made arts and crafts. Ever since, this is my go to spot for legitimate and tasteful Outer Banks souvenirs. In addition to locally made items they also have some vintage items and even some new items for sale. One item that this store specializes in is really cool resin windows that are unique and exude happiness. Absolutely Outer Banks has artwork in all mediums and in all price points. They have jewelry, wood signs, candles, prints, glass work, textiles, metal work, etc.  On my most recent visit I enjoyed looking at a vintage pin ball machine and eyeing up the beautiful array of Fiestaware. There is plenty of opportunity for ooohhhing and ahhhing.  The owner is super friendly so that adds to the overall great experience. Absolutely Outer Banks is centrally located in Kitty Hawk in the former spot of a bank.

Funny enough my husband wanted to go to The Cotton Gin to shop for Vineyard Vines clothing. I had planned to sit the shopping trip out but next thing I know I'm checking out at Cotton Gin with a new puzzle, bracelet, Christmas ornament, candy and bag. Just when I didn't think I needed anything I managed to find a variety of things at Cotton Gin. As indicated by this anecdote, The Cotton Gin sells a variety of stuff and it's fun to wander through the various rooms of the two level store. Although I most commonly come away with beachy souvenirs it is worth noting that they have high end cotton products like towels, quilts, and such. The Cotton Gin has various locations and the Nags Head store is located at the 14 Mile Post across from the Outer Banks Mall.

We had friends travel 35 minutes each way to get them during the agreed upon time to find Dorothy was not present and her husband said she was out playing tennis and had no idea what they were talking about. Add insult to injury, on $900 worth of flowers she thought $50 to pay for the friends gas was enough to fix it. Lacks ability to take ownership and say "I'm sorry"- instead she said "life happens and we roll with it." She delivered 2.5 hours after the agreed upon time and flower arrangements were pretty but many went to waste due to the delay. It's not worth the stress on your wedding day, brides beware. In regards to owner response, I'm happy to post all emails and the full signed contract to this review.
