    Waygu Burger with French Fries
    Kristian D.

I have been to Outer Aisle several times since it opened, and the place still impresses. Even the locals love this place, so they are doing something good just off Highway 4 in Murphys. Their restaurant is right next to Murphys Suites right as you enter the town heading up from the Valley. Their focus is on New American food using local and natural ingredients. On my recent trip, my friend and I both had the Waygu Burger. The kitchen prepared the burger exactly to medium rare which let the flavor of the beef really shine. I opted for the fries which was a massive portion served with a sweet ketchup which was a little off. You can get a side salad instead which is probably a healthier option. They have wine and beer and even a good kombucha selection. I am not a big fan of the paper straws which tend to get soft quickly, but I appreciate the effort for natural and sustainable products. Staff was friendly and quick to deliver the tasty food and drinks. Outer Aisle should be a stop for visitors and locals looking for something classic with a modern twist.

Tasty fried chicken and avocado sandwich

Artisan style farm-to-table sandwiches just off Main Street - yes please! My wife and I ordered the Fried Chicken sandwich and the Rueben sandwich. Both were absolutely fantastic - simple in appearance, but absolutely bursting with rich handmade flavor. Great selection of local wines. Plus craft beers and rotating Kombucha on tap! Staff was super friendly and happy to make recommendations. You get what you pay for - sandwiches were $14 each. You will leave satisfied, but not stuffed.

Thai chicken salad-- missing the Thai. Bland chicken

Fresh veggies straight from their own community garden. Disappointed with what would of been tasty truffle fries. Soggy and had to reorder. 2nd time as better. Service is polite and professional. Dinner outside dining recommended (weather permitting) Nice patio area is wonderfully relaxing. Now offering a small stage featuring live local bands. Thai chicken salad ok. Chicken piccata yummy

    Lemon chicken and fresh vegetables

Farm to table this place does it right. The menu changes as the seasons change. The vegetables are fresh and seasoned to perfection. The selection of proteins are organic plump without steroids. Lemon chicken with fresh seasonal vegetables was sautéed with herbs moist and juicy. The capers were not over whelming with a pinch of pepper and tossed with lemon. Coconut pineapple cake was moist with a light cream cheese frosting. As my fork dipped densely into perfection my mouth watered with anticipation. This is definately a go to for dinner. It's not cheap as eating cleanly organicly never is but it is well worth the price.

We just had an amazing Valentines dinner. Every experience here has been fantastic whether dropping into the market for some fresh veggies, hitting up their epic soup and salad bar for lunch or having a full meal of the finest local and organic ingredients. Staff is caring and dedicated, food is fantastic and their mission to bring pure and honest food to the mainstream is noble. Thank you Outer Aisle for bringing soul food to our community!

Macadamia crusted halibut over carrots and cauliflower puree!

I just had an amazing dinner with my mom. We started with the chef salad with gorgonzola cheese, pears, garbanzo beans, bacon and balsamic vinnaigrette. We were suprised with the special of the evening, seared scallops over red rice with fennel, very fresh and the scallops were cooked perfectly, simply delicious! Next we both chose the wild caught salmon, cooked per order, (wich we both prefer mid rare), in a light beurre blanc. Every component of each dish was portrayed beautifully and full of flavor. I didn't have to add salt (wich says a lot for me) Great local wine selection as well. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, worth getting off of main street for a breather. I will definitely go back to try the upcoming changes I hear they will be making to the menu!

Amazing salad bar with fresh wild greens, watercress, avocado, hazelnuts, persimmon, farm fresh eggs, homemade dressing, etc

Best fresh salad bar that I have ever enjoyed. Yummy meatloaf, Hambuger. Fun, clean store and cafe.

    The Farmers Plate. Simply amazing!

There was also coffee in the room and a full coffee/tea bar in the dining area. The facility had a library den full of interesting titles, puzzles, and games. We LOVED the breakfasts. The menu included many choices: french toast, waffle, omelet, potatoes, veggies, eggs to order, bacon, toast, english muffin and fruit. The portions were extremely generous! The staff were all great including owner Michael who was very attentive to questions we had. We've also stayed at another of his properties (The Victoria Inn) which was also lovely. We definitely plan to be back and I can hardly wait! While we were in the area we ate at Jesus' Restaurant (Mexican across the street), Firewood (delicious pizza), and coffee at Aria. We also enjoyed hard cider at Indigeny Reserve! I definitely recommend staying at the Dunbar!

This place is a cozy, green oasis in one of the cutest towns in America, and the value is incredible. They let us have the run of the place for the whole weekend while we hosted and set up. The staff made it feel like home -- such kind and lovely people. Breakfast for our wedding party was included. Anything we asked for, they made it happen, and we were able to control every aspect of the event: bar, catering, etc. Another perk I didn't anticipate was a 360 view of the venue from the bridal suite, which allowed me to keep an eye on everything while I was getting ready. The suite is basically an apartment, with a full kitchen we were able to cater our rehearsal dinner out of. Most of our guests were able to stay the weekend and walk to the venue from their hotels (they make it easy with their sister hotel the Victoria Inn and associated rentals). Our wedding was a dream that we're sad to wake up from. If this place calls to you, do not hesitate to book.

She was truly dedicated to the success of our wedding making sure we were stress-free the entire time. And I must add she is extremely creative! The owners (the Klauses) were also extremely diligent and genuinely cared that we would have the most amazing day. They are the kindest and most gracious people you will ever meet! The location/venue was perfect! I mean the view overlooking the lake was breathtaking! And it wasn't the only spot that was beautiful. Every inch of that property was gorgeous. It felt like I was in some magical land that I couldn't imagine even in my wildest dreams. I mean, our photographer was so inspired she kept finding great places for us to take pictures. Shout out to Renee as one of the Vendors too, she was handsdown one of the best decisions we made regarding the wedding. You will regret not booking her for your wedding/event. This was truly a memorable day and a huge reason for this was the people involved and the location. We didn't have to worry about random people showing up to our intimate wedding like I've seen happen at other venues. It was spacious enough to for a large wedding party without sacrificing comfort, we loved that we felt tucked away into nature while still having "city accommodations". And I must add, the view from the casita is unmatched. Best view on the property. I loved that it served as my bridal suite! I can't say enough about Airola Vineyards. Truly, our wedding was just enchanting. While our guests were originally skeptical about the location (many had to drive 8+ hours) once they arrived they all thanked us for the invitation because it meant they were in such a beautiful location. I'm surprised this place isn't better known and while I want to be selfish and not the let the secret out, I would be doing humanity a disservice if I didn't shout Airola Vineyards' (and it's staff) exceptionalism from the roof tops. I am convinced this is one of the most romantic places on planet Earth.

They were always willing to listen to any questions we had and were always checking in along the way. The freedom of the venue really pulls you in because it offered that blank canvas of possibilities and that is what we wanted because I love a challenge and had a very clear image of how I wanted my wedding to look like.
