First I have to say the moment I came in there was a server that was so welcoming her name is Annabelle and she made me feel absolutely welcomed. There were four hostesses at the front desk when I entered and she was in the middle but she was absolutely warm and friendly and took me to a table it was truly terrific she took care of me so well during the entire time that I felt like I had a family member who loved me making sure that everything was great. I cannot say more for the service and friendliness and consideration that she gave me. She is one of the best servers I've ever had my whole life and I have traveled probably a good 10 years out of my life for work and this was one of the best. She deserves to have a bonus of some kind. Now I will also say the food was terrific but before the food I just want to say the ambience is quiet there's no loud obnoxious overpowering music so you can't even hear your server or you can't hear yourself think. It's truly an Ambience that is worth enjoying. Also I never liked having a lot of noise and Loud talking because the music is so loud then you have really loud talking even when I was in my twenties . So for people who like a truly great environment to eat and a healthier environment to eat Outback is the place. No the food was really great I love the steak and contrary to what most people do they do not really make a medium rare steak but this cook did and it was terrific. Another thing out back has sea salt on the tables that and peppercorn so you take the top of the Shakers and turn them and you get fresh sea salt and fresh pepper and it is such a difference from not fresh and it is healthy compared to table salt which has aluminum in it and causes Alzheimer's. I say this as a consultant to md's. I'm also called a CSS and I'm certainly hoping people read the full review and they stop using table salt anytime. You also have to be careful when getting any products from the store that the ingredients say sea salt or don't get it. Sea salt truly causes Alzheimer's . So does deodorant by the way which has aluminum in it unless it says aluminum free. I use tea tree oil or witch hazel instead of deodorant. Hope this helps everybody. Steaks were seasoned far too much, I know Outback my son worked the Las Vegas there for five years. Dining here in Wichita was terrible. Three different steaks ordered all were so over salted and seasoned ,,, I could only take one bite of mine and my son and my wife had the same problem. The manager offered to recook the steaks,,, but My taste buds were already ruined. The manager then offered us free desserts,,, but I asked him to please just bring us the bill and remove the steaks off the bill. He did so. I was pleased with that. I will not go back there. We have always loved outback. But recently they have taken a turn for the worse. The blooming chicken, specifically, it's like the cook has forgotten that this is supposed to be thin and therefore cooked all the way through. Love the blue cheese pecan salad but the last 3-4 times I've ordered this, it has been served warm. Talk about provoking food poisoning fears. Hubs always loves the Alice springs chicken, which has been cooked to perfection each time. His house salads, though, have also been served warm. I really hope they take a look at their service and make positive changes before we lose another good restaurant in this city. There already appears to be a decline in service and quality resulting in an obvious decline in customers. We see a maximum of 5 tables in the evenings on any given night. read more

I used to go to outback in California all of the time. Food was amazing. But this one here...mmmm nope. Service was good. I ordered the steak and Alice spring chicken. Steak was supposed to be medium well. As you can tell from the picture, it was WELL DONE. And the chicken was dry as it could be. It appeared to have been setting a while before they served it to me. The Mac and Cheese had no real cheesy flavor or any other seasonings. The blooming chicken, the sweet potato and the broccoli were the best things. This should be a five-star review. The food was cooked just right, neither under- nor over-done, the steak cuts were excellent, the service was good, the restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the prices reasonable for what we received. Unfortunately, so much salt was added to both the meat and veggies that it was overbearing. I don't understand why restaurants do this...patrons who enjoy highly salted food can add their own at the table. For us, it seriously degraded the experience. We'll return to see if we just happened to have an over-zealous cook and I'll edit this review if it is better, but for now I can only rate the restaurant as "OK." read more

My wife ordered a filet mignon, I ordered the strip. We selected the side orders of mashed taters and salad. We got our order and with no gravey? The strip was very tough and not even shapped like a strip. No T-Bone but part of a bone from the butt end. You know, like a sirloin and it was tough. Flavor was good. But very chewy, you know like a sirloin. It really should have been ran through the grinder and put between two buns. For the price and quality of the meal, I would have been better off going to the Olive Garden and a hell of a lot cheaper and much higher quality of food and menu selection. I will not be back. Very disappointed. I order often from Outback on Ridge Road for pickup and am always very pleased with the food and service. I placed a large order on Sunday at 11am for pickup at 330pm. My Mother has ALS and had a medical issue that caused me to need to take her to the hospital. I called the restaurant at 1pm and asked to please cancel the order, explained the situation and Sammy talked to her manager and assured me that it would be cancelled. As I was sitting at the ER, I get a text at 330pm that the order is ready for pickup! I called the restaurant and no answer, I called back 3 more times and no answer. I am surprised...
