Coming to Horrigan at 10am on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to be the only one in there for most of the 2 loads I washed . Its perfectly clean, efficient and brightly lit. $4.50 to wash and a quarter buys you 5-6 mins on the larger dryer. Save a little cash by loading as much as you can in the large washers and dryers. They actually do work quite well and efficiently. I am curious if those Tide pods or similar brands would work on these? I was stupid and forgot to bring my own detergent but of course they have that there in a vending machine... for $0.75 a wack. They also had bleach, and softeners. There is a vending machine inside with a limited about of soda, but Dunkin Donuts is only steps away next door. I will be back as this was probably the only laundry experience I've had in the last 10 years that didn't involve sweating profusely and carrying a truckload of clothes up or down a million flights of stairs. I will however bring my own detergent and probably a blanket! My only grip is I wish this was a little more comfortable to hang out - its super cold in there it seems..not terrible for summer but was rather bitter on a snowy morning. The bathroom was clean but it was also at one point a broom closet, so make sure you use the bathroom before you come to do your laundry! I heard that this cleaning company also does professional rug cleaning and they also do a wash/dry/fold service but it is NOT at this location. You have to call and set that up. From what I understand, the wash dry fold service is reasonably priced. But if someone is going to drop off my laundry, they can take like all of my money.

Recently came back from a long trip and the last thing on earth we wanted to do was the 6 loads of laundry we left behind or the ultra dirty clothes still in our luggage. I printed up the groupon for 40 lbs of laundry for $20. Heaved my laundry into my car and headed down. They open at 7am so it was really perfect before work to get those clothes off my mind. Weighed in at the intake and a nice woman said she'd call me when they were done. I was new so I left my phone # and address on a sticky note at the counter. The whole day passed and I never got a phone call. Late in the day before I left work, I figured I'd give them a shout. A different girl answered and confirmed my clothes were done. No call. but hey they are done! I got there and they had already put my clean clothes in a laundry carrier to make it a litle easier to get outside to my car. Because I had gone over the 40 lbs ( yeah tons of clothes it was embarrassing almost) Easy checkout, processed the groupon without any issue and they have a tablet POS system so you can sign with your finger and get an email receipt! When I went to pick the dress up, one minor stain was pointed out and I was told that the woman could not get the stain out. When I arrived home and looked at the dress, there were 7 incredibly noticeable stains that were still present. I called and explained to the woman that all of the stains that I had specifically told her about were still there. I asked for my money back because the dress, minus a couple of watermarks, was exactly the same as when I brought it to her, and I had paid $40 for something I could have handwashed myself. She said she told me that they couldn't garuntee anything, and refused to give me my money back. I was never told this. She also said she called while they were cleaning it to tell me the stains weren't coming out, which is also untrue because the call was to ensure I knew about some rips in the armpits before she proceeded. She even further claimed that she told me from the start that she wouldn't be able to get the stains out which is also untrue, because then I wouldn't have even bothered having it cleaned. She said she wouldn't give me my money back because the woman who cleaned it still had to pay for the chemicals, but although she may have "cleaned" it, my $600 dress is still not clean and I probably will never be able to wear it again. Customer service is about providing the customer with the best possible experience, and sometimes it does come at a cost, but that's what makes a business. If you don't like your food at a restaurant, the restaurant still has to pay for the food that they made for you but they will still correct the mistake. It doesn't matter that she paid for these chemicals to clean the dress, it's still not clean, and so I should be entitled to a refund, but this is being refused by a very rude, inconsiderate, and unbearabley uncaring employee who knows nothing about customer service or how to run a business.

The owner of the laundry (a friend) no longer trusted them to take away eight 13-gallon bags of her clothing and household items. We both reached out by telephone. I have emailed numerous times. It has now been two weeks, and I am still waiting for a refund OR EVEN A RESPONSE TO MY EMAILS. Caveat emptor--buyer beware.
