While they didn't have exactly what I was looking for I did see they have a great selection of wood, hardware, tools, some farm equipment and necessity use and they even have baby chicks !!!!! I was too distracted and didn't get a chance to take picture of their yard but they have a huge selection. Really good selection and the prices are competitive keeping in mind the other options are 45 minutes away. Definitely worth checking it out for that next project on the list.

I wasn't sure if they carried their own brand or the same cleaning tablets sold at Walmart, Amazon, and other retailers. When we arrived, Michael in the appliance department was incredibly welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of our questions, explained the different options, and made a recommendation that helped us make an informed decision. Afterward, we headed to the air conditioning section, where Larry was equally friendly and engaging. He gladly helped us locate a drip pan and offered additional assistance to ensure we found exactly what we needed. We don't shop at Lowe's very often, but both Michael and Larry provided outstanding customer service. They listened carefully to our questions, never made us feel rushed, and genuinely wanted to help. It's refreshing to encounter employees who are so knowledgeable and customer-focused. I would not do business with DHC Supplies (Sparks, NV) again. I ordered Sika sealant from them and…read morespent hours prepping and caulking under sliding doors, etc. I've used Sika products before (they're great) and knew what to expect. I realized the sealant was not curing properly--it remains tacky and hasn't set up for days. When I checked the expiration date, the product was 8 months past expiration! (Expiry date hidden on caulk tube plunger disk inside tube.) So they are selling way-expired product that does not perform properly. I called Sika and talked with a technical rep. He said if it doesn't set up within a week, I need to scrape it all out and start over with fresh sealant! And even if it does set up, he was uncertain about the long-term performance of the expired product. This was unacceptable negligence by DHC Supplies.

I come and and the guy rings the bell for will call. Wait 5 minutes and no one comes. Ring again. Someone comes. He spent 10 minutes trying to find my order and couldn't. Then I had to wait 15 minutes in line and then someone wrote up my order and I went to pay for it. They told me I had to drive somewhere a few blocks away to pick up my items. Fine. I did that. And I get there and they say they are out of stock of 3 of my four items. Why did they just sell me out of stock items and not tell me. Now I have to call on the phone and convince them I didn't actually get the three items I paid for and they need to credit my card. I didn't have the time to drive 2 blocks and back wait in line again. Update: they don't take phone calls on the weekend, even though they are open. !!?! And all of this took an hour, which should have taken less than 5 minutes and completely messed up my whole day of scheduled events.

Last week my wife and I found out that our bed was broken.... I wish there was a good story, but…read morethere's not. Simply put, the cross supports were in the wrong spots and the plastic frame for our Sleepnumber bed had lost its integrity. What are we going to do. First, Sleepnumber was amazing, as they replaced the defective pieces at no charge and they shipped them to us for....wait for it....no charge. So, we had the replacement parts, now I sought out to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Heck, when you weigh what I do, you do need support. So, I decide more of the wood cross supports are needed. Meeks is the local purveyor of all things wood and the customer service there was incredible. You see, I'm a novice and I need help. I took the measurements, told the salesman what I needed, and they simply did the rest, and, mind you, this all took place on a Saturday morning, a morning I would suspect is a busy morning, filled with novices like me. Did I mention the custom cuts? As I mentioned, I showed up with the dimensions and they made sure that I left with the exact sizes that I needed. The yard guys took care of that. So, I leave happy, my wife and I piece together the new frame, and once again we slept in air supported bliss last night. I knew what I wanted, but I didn't know how this business facilitated selecting wood. Went to the cashier to ask for guidance and found them to be seemingly uninterested and unhelpful. They liked talking to each other at the counter. An odd business that doesn't understand customer service. Nor do they seem to be very enthusiastic about their products. They had a good variety of wood, but I wasn't impressed with some of the cut quality. I wish their management luck, the place has good potential. Just need to retrain and rehire staff.
