Sometimes a man just craves fish and chips and that's exactly what I had in mind when I rolled into "Our Mo's". Always keen to try a new chippie (they've apparently been open 6 weeks or so) and the smartly appointed sign and interior drew me in. The menu was straightforward and featured all the usual chip shop fare.
After ordering I sat at one of the tables I noticed they also had a small ice cream counter and a covered terrace area out front. The food was fresh cooked and the chips were delicious as was the fish. There were a load of lunch time specials on display and the whole shop had a nice fresh atmosphere to it, particularly with the white walls and recessed lighting. As I was the only customer the woman behind the counter chatted away and she recommended for larger orders that I ring ahead as it can get busy in the evening.
Definitely a new worthy addition to the world of great Belfast chip-shops,
Pros: Clean, friendly, excellent fish and chips.
Cons: Again not the most central of areas. No parking. read more
