I chose Kay's as they had a really nice selection of sympathy planters. I love flowers, but for sympathy occasions I do prefer planters. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful "The FTD® Peace & Serenity™ Dishgarden" that I had chosen. The plants and flowers looked so beautiful, and the quality of the basket was lovely! In my case, we were picking up before closing time on the way to a memorial service so we'd only have a chance to see the finished product. When you provide a higher-end price point (above $150), you're hoping to eliminate the risk of having a small or underwhelming arrangement. Unfortunately, that was the case with the initial arrangement prepared for us. The good news is that a family member went to pick up the arrangement early and saw that it was not acceptable and requested it be redone. To their credit, Jean's flower shop worked with us to redo the arrangement and the final outcome of the team effort was a lovely arrangement suitable for the price point and occasion. Giving 3 stars because they accepted a last minute, same-day request and worked to redo the arrangement but I would have given 1 star for the initial product at the price we paid.
