Unfortunately, the leaks started again this March. I got estimates and Kyle seemed to make the most sense. He showed me pictures and explained carefully how the metal roof was bad and that installation caused damage to the siding. I got financing through him and signed contracts. His contract included getting the permits and a GAF warranty on the roofing materials! A week or so later he and his crew were here to install a newer roof. He found what was causing the problems and made the corrections needed. Even when I disagreed with Kyle about 2 of 3 skylights, he found me a solution. Then, they came back and installed new siding. There were days of banging and shaking during the installations, but the results are gorgeous! Take pictures before the work is done so everything can be put back where you had it. He and his crew were considerate, patient, and very professional! Hopefully, I now have a secure home without moisture building up and a roof that will not leak for at least 10 years! DO NOT HIRE TUJI. Tuji was the most disingenuous, dishonest and nontransparent company I have dealt…read morewith. They ignored my moving agreement, missed the box-delivery date, and were hours late for the rescheduled delivery. I contracted 4 movers, but only 2 arrived on moving pick up day turning a 6- to 7-hour move into a 14-hour day. They gave no advance notice (they said more movers may come later but that did not happen). After the 14 hour move they tried to collect $1,000 in unexplained upcharges, which I refused to pay. Over the next two weeks, I spent hours trying to secure the 4 movers for the delivery move and remove the charges I had never agreed to. On delivery day, only 3 movers arrived, and the job still took 10 hours instead of the expected 5. They also used Penske rental trucks instead of Tuji-branded moving vans, and the trucks were smaller than a large moving-company truck. Tuji eventually waived the unauthorized upcharges as a "goodwill credit." They were clearly understaffed and should not have accepted the move but instead treated the signed agreement as an ongoing negotiable contract and relied on repeated excuses. Apologies if Tuji staff members were in a truck accident and in the hospital...but...the continued excuses presented as "the dog ate my homework." When voicing complaints, they continuously redirect the communication and just keep the "floor spinning" with nonsense to avoid direct answers. Some staff used both Zip to Zip and Tuji email addresses, suggesting a shared service arrangement. Tuji also provided no direct-dial numbers or individual emails, only a generic address. Hard to determine who works for what company. I ended up paying about what was expected (after numerous emails/phone calls) but got VERY LONG move days which I wanted to avoid. The movers themselves were hardworking and excellent; a competitor would be wise to hire them.
