Andy and his crew were excellent! He was on time, efficient, and extremely affordable. I would use him again and again.

Cant ask for a better company and owner. Have used them several times for multiple jobs and always satisfied with the quality and value with the service requested. read more

What a team! They did everything they said they would. On time and on budget. Plus, they are fun to be around. 400 mile move went perfectly. NO DAMAGE. read more

Great service! Professional and courteous. Very fair cost which was 40% less than another quote. Adjusted price for furniture that had been sold. Arrived early and completed the move in 4 hours less than I planned. Arranged to donate my living room set to Habitat for Humanity on morning of move. Andy agreed to deliver the set to HH the same morning! Will definitely use Handy Andy in the future. Highly recommend!! read more

The outstanding team of 6 led by Little Andy arrived early, very respectful, and worked quickly, quietly, and efficiently. There was no damage to anything and they made sure everything was reassembled and placed exactly where I asked. Having a flat rate to pay made for no surprises when they were finished. This was a small move for me and I'll definitely call them again when needed. read more

I contacted Handy Andy about a month before I needed to move and the scheduling process and quote process was super easy - they just looked at my home on Zillow to provide a quote. They were the lowest of the companies I contacted. For the amount of work they did for what they had to move it was definitely a good value. The crew showed up and loaded my whole home into their trailer in one go. Everything remained intact. The guys were super nice, fast, and careful with our items. I definitely recommend them! read more

Outstanding does not do justice to the quality of the work performed by the team that Andy sent to my home in Bridgeville this morning. Amazing is too timid a word. Incredible comes a little closer but you should know that in the past thirty years we have moved more than twenty times and 19 of them have been stress (and sometimes terror) filled events and the last one was simply horrific. Andy's team not only showed up (EARLY!) but were polite, energetic and only too happy to keep me advised of any questions about special care needed for some pieces of artwork. It took two days for the California crew to unload us and place our belongings and my brother-in-law and I did much of the unloading. These 'work animals' stripped our Bridgeville 4 BR home in TWO HOURS! I never got to eat the lunch I had packed! We drove to Georgetown and they were out of here by 11:40 in the morning. A four bedroom, two story home packed out and moved in under four hours? Simply incredible. I'm still in shock. I'm telling you honestly that Andy's price was too low in our estimation but we accepted it gladly. And we tipped the hell out of the crew who honestly deserved even more than we gave them. We are just blown away by this company - he should go national and take Allied and the other national carriers down a peg or two. And a special shout out to Amber, Andy's alter-ego on the phone, who kept us updated and informed through the process. Well done, sir. Very well done indeed. read more

Andy & his team are the best movers I have ever worked with. My business 'moves' people. I run moves, pack homes, unpack and essentially be support during a trying time. In 8 years I have done numerous moves, 7 in the last 5 weeks. These guys outshine every other loving company I've worked with. They were on time (never happens...), they were knowledgeable, patient, friendly, helpful, fast and smiled even through the more challenging tasks. Seriously the best! read more

My parents used Handy Andy for their local move a few years ago, and I used them for my out of state move. I would highly recommend this business. They were timely, very fast and efficient, and professional. read more

Andy and his entire crew were amazing!!! Friendly, easy going and still smiling after a LONG day of l8ading and unloading. I would recommend them 100%. If you want your move to be smooth and done in an utmost professional manner call Andy! Amber is also awesome and extremely responsive! read more

Andy and his team are great!!! The expertly and efficiently moved us from Delaware to South Carolina. The movers were professional, competent and pleasant. They wrapped everything in plastic and I loved that we were able to keep clothes in the dressers. They arrived on time and were finished very quickly. I would recommend them for any move!!! read more

We would Not recommend this company to anyone. They damaged almost every piece of wood furniture that they touched. Contacted the owner with zero results. They don't care once they have their payment. Horrible job for a lot of $. read more

Great crew. Highly recommend Handy Andy for your move. We are hoping to never have to move again, but if we had to we would most definitely use Handy Andy's crew again. Thanks!! read more

Moved from New Castle County, Delaware to Montgomery County, Pennsylvania last week. The bottom line is that the move was a pleasure - (if you can call moving a pleasure.) The crew showed up on time and ready to work and work they did! Efficient and obviously well practiced we were amazed at how quickly they completed packing and loading. Unloading was just as quick and professional. The job was first rate and I'd hire them again. read more

Andy and his team helped us out by doing a move on very short notice. Responding quickly to our call, his assistant, Megan, took note of our moving requirements and communicated with Andy to confirm details and to set the date and time for the move. They scheduled the date in Lewes, DE with only two days notice (something no other movers in the area could do) and communicated well with us every step of the way. At the scheduled time, Andy showed up with the truck and two others (Vinny and Andrew). They all worked quickly, but with care to move all items. They packed the truck well, so all our items would be safe. Once arriving at our home in Greenbackville, Virginia, they unloaded everything safely. If you are in the Lewes-Delmarva area and have moving needs then you should give Handy Andy a call. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Good people. read more

We recently moved from Milton DE to Mechanicsville VA. We had a very quick close on our home and Andy Long was recommended to us as a local and long distance mover. Andy came out to estimate what we had going and size of crew needed. His entire crew was courteous, very polite and hard working. Everything that was moved was wrapped and handled as if it belonged personally to them. The team arrived early on a Friday morning and my entire 4 bedroom home was packed in approximately 2 hours. They drove to VA and unloaded everything, assembled all the beds and placed all boxes in neatly stacked rows that we can access and hopefully unpack soon. This was a very positive experience during a very stressful time. Do not hesitate to use this moving service. What a great experience. Our move took place on 6/21/19. read more

I interviewed 4 movers and decided on Handy Andy because Amber and Andy answered all my questions and my concerns with such reassurance and pleasantness. The movers were on time, courteous , swift, efficient. They were so kind with all my particular requests of where to put my furniture. They were done and tidy in record time! I am 63 years old and have moved many times, by far and away this is the best professional moving company ever!!! read more

We had a local move from Milton to Lewes. The crew of six arrived around 7:30, they had everything loaded in the trucks by 8:22 and had everything unloaded by 9:30. They were a great bunch and were very efficient using an assembly line method rather than one box at a time. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a move, locally or otherwise. read more

I had a great experience with this company. My mom used Andy for a move a couple of years ago and loved him so I asked him for a quote for a recent move from DC to Chicago. His rate was more economical than two other companies that we priced. The movers were prompt, respectful, and very easy to work with and Andy was super nice. I immediately trusted him. We gave him our stuff, a check for several grand, and the keys to our new house. He delivered everything days before we even arrived and everything was set up neatly in our new home when we got there. The poor guys even shoveled some of the snow when they got there. I would recommend them to anyone with absolutely no hesitation. read more

We had Handy Andy move us from Delaware to Massachusetts and they did a fabulous job. Andy and his crew showed up early then scheduled and got right to work. The were professional, efficient, and worked together like a pro team. These guys made sure that the packing and the delivery was handled with the utmost care and consideration. They addressed all questions and offered to make any adjustments that needed to be made. Their demeanor was positive, helpful and courteous. They ensured that all items were properly wrapped and covered to avoid damage to the pieces and/or walls when moving the items around. The move happened all in one day which made it more efficient and allowed for life to go on! Andy and his crew made sure that we were satisfied with all the work and where items were placed and assembled before they left. We appreciated their customer satisfaction and quality. Also, Amber was great in keeping us informed of status, pricing and confirmation of the move. A BIG high five to the Handy Andy Crew for a job well done. Thank you! read more

Andy Long earned high scores across the board for our recent move from Milton, DE to North Carolina. He is pleasant to work with, eager to please, and extremely capable. His entire team reflects his value of providing excellent service with a smile. Reasonably priced, as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! A+! read more

What a great experience we had with our move. We were moving out of state, which is stressful enough. But Andy and his team did a great job removing those worries. We didn't think we needed 2 trucks but Andy brought the second truck just in case and sure enough we did need it. I wasn't sure all would fit in our storage unit but it did. The man can work some wonders. Would and will definitely use them again. Thanks again to you and your team. read more

Handy Andy moved us three times In last 20 months. I can't say enough positive things about this moving company . They are courteous , careful and efficient. Andy himself supervised each move . The crew carefully wraps your furniture. ( included in the price) The crew consists of at least seven workers. They lay blankets on your pieces ( included in the price) On the day of all three moves they arrived on time. They laid blankets on my hard wood floors. They moved us into our storage unit and out of our units .They were careful and courteous. Andy keeps a watchful eye during the entire process. This is the AMAZING part. Our closing held up the transfer of funds from one bank to another for two hours . Although Andy had another job waiting, Andy kept his trucks in front of our new home waiting those two hours until we received the keys to our house. We opted for the flat rateSo he had nothing to gain by this . Remarkable service!!! Courteous workers!! Best price we found and I interviewed five area movers. Just Great People. read more

We used Andy and his team to move from Rehoboth Beach DE to Franklin/ Nashville TN. They are easily the best movers that I have ever used( I'm 64 and have moved 10+ times). Completely professional, courteous, and hard working. His rates are very reasonable . I give them the highest possible recommendation. read more

Andy and his crew moved us just 2 blocks away in Milton, DE. Of all the moves we have had, this one was the best. Andy arrived when he said he would and the crew was ready to go. They had us moved out in just 90 minutes, while still taking care of our belongings (including a piano!). They got us moved in about as quickly, with everything where it was supposed to be. They were courteous and friendly, and Andy's rates were reasonable. We are very happy with our experience and recommend Handy Andy highly. read more

Received a quote from Andy Long for a local move. He requested a typed list of furniture, boxes and other items. He declined a visit to our home to make a quote and gave us a fair quote based on the submitted list. However, on moving day when he arrived at our large home, he attempted to raise the price while standing in the street before he ever entered our home. We balked and demanded he honor the hourly rate--after all, if the job should take longer, we would have paid for more hours. Everything was moved into PODS and storage sheds as our new home was under construction. During the move, Andy and his men broke the glass top to our dining table. During the storage period, my husband became ill and died. When I finally had the items unpacked by other movers, I realized several items were missing. I contacted Andy to request replacement of the glass table top. His response was to say "you didn't use me to unload you" and then said he had "no memory of breaking a glass table top" and that "too much time had lapsed." I explained the delay in unloading due to my husband's illness. He was so unmoved! I then confronted him on the missing items and was told by him that "that never occurs" yet one of his employees told me that missing items was not unusual for Andy Long's team. Buyer beware! This is a real, actual review. Andy Long is a member of the large Brittingham family in this area. read more

We heard about Handy Andy from some friends and hired them for a small furniture-moving project. They were on-time and worked very efficiently. They even hauled the couches we were getting rid of to a thrift shop. I can't really comment on price because I didn't bother to get multiple bids, but their price seemed reasonable. Overall we were very pleased with the job they did and will call them again for future moving needs. read more
