I guess I should of known since when I called Friday the 6th June. Your company didn't remember my name and then said oh that's Magnolia and confirmed the date and time. I recently had JGM do a small job for me in my foyer. I called and was able to get an appointment…read morefor the following morning. The work performed was well done but the biggest problem was how they come up with the invoice. They sent two people out at $50 per man per hour which is pretty standard. Most people's understanding would be the "billable" time starts when they get there until they leave the house. The total job took about an hour and 20 minutes from when they said hello, to getting their equipment setup until they left the front door. Problem here is that they charge via GPS of their vehicle. After they were done, they sat in our driveway for an additional 40 minutes. When I received the invoice I was apparently charged for this. I emailed a snapshot with time stamp from our nest doorbell of them showing up and leaving. To the owners, this didn't matter. Apparently I was forced to pay for them (2 people at 50 per hour per man) to sit in the driveway for an additional 40 minutes. Maybe this is a tactic they use to squeeze out additional hours. Again, the work was great but the buyers need to beware of their billing tactics.
