The day of paving, Isaac Sr. talked me into adding an additional area (apron) of asphalt, telling me it would save me money. I agreed to the pricing as I understood it, but his pricing information was miscommunicated. When I questioned the final price, he was adamant that I misunderstood, and reiterated that they had saved me money. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and paid the asked total. When I measured everything afterward, and figured cost per square foot, they had not saved me money. When I spoke with him to discuss it further, he must have called me sweetheart 5 times, while telling me I must not know how to measure non square shapes (I do). Bottom line, get everything in writing from them, in advance of any work or changes.

We had a very nice initial meeting together after we needed some emergency tree work done. He appeared personable, but wasn't able to get right to it, which was a bit of a problem. That said, we were happy to make some concessions to work with him since he talked a very good game and appeared to be doing the same in return. He gave some long shpiel about professionalism, treating people right, yada, yada... and, despite his promises, that was the last time we ever saw or heard from him. Ensley requested texts (the only way to reach this "business"??) that he never replies to (not a single reply at any point in time--ever). He never answers his phone, never responded to emails, and never responded to messages sent through that lousy website contact form. I spoke with him twice--once when he returned my initial voicemail, which he obviously screened, and again when he showed up to secure the job. However, Ensley took the job and scheduled with us, had us wait when it was an emergency, and then caused further delays by refusing to notify us of anything whatsoever after apparently deciding to stiff us. We ended up finding a truly professional company that did a fantastic job without headaches. Since then, we've used the other company on a number of big jobs on various properties, and our only wish was that we had their name before calling this jester. It left us extremely frustrated at the time, but we're ultimately grateful that Ensley showed his colors right out of the box.

We hired Tim Hayes to take down a structurally unsound chimney and replace a damaged concrete deck around the pool of a house we had just bought in Rehoboth. We kept adding to the scope of work the entire project and the job also got more involved as problems revealed themselves which required drainage, masonry repair, carpentry repair, swimming pool repairs, etc. At the end of it all, what we ended up with was a stamped concrete deck with a random stone pattern and each piece individually stained. Tim and his crew did a fantastic job. Everyone who comes over remarks on how beautiful it turned out. Tim is not only an excellent craftsman, he is truly an artist.
