I often wondered about residents who had no loved ones to watch out for them. I would not recommend this facility for anyone who does not have a local family member or friend to watch out for their care. There is a high turnover of staff and administration which reflects a facility in need of consistent leadership. While my parents were there, there were many nurses and aides who were amazing and who went above and beyond for my parents. However, due to administrative issues, some of those dedicated people left the facility. Please be cautioned that all is not as it appears to be at Kensington Place.

You have a concierge to answer questions when you purchase & a dispatcher to tell you where the movers are via text and/or phone call. A $400 down payment is required. Our rate was $160/hour all inclusive, no minimum # of hours required. We had about 25 items moved, all big stuff like mattresses, washer, dryer, couch, dressers... it took them 3 hours, including 25 minute travel time. All payment can be made online via PayPal. Tommy, Mark and Matt, our movers, were phenomenal. They offered to move any item we wanted & were great conversationalist. While they deserved several breaks, they didn't stop until they were done. The service, friendliness and communication from booking the appointment to the last item moved exceeded my expectations. In general, hiring movers is worth every penny. I can not recommend Local Anything enough! The only complaint I had was they arrived an hour and a half later than the 2 hour buffer/service time. Though they quickly made up for that small annoyance.

My home is a 4 bedroom house with a basement but not everything needed to be moved out. It took them way longer than expected to complete the move (12 hours one day and had to come back the next day to finish for 8 hours or so!). The total bill charged ended up being way more (obviously) than I anticipated.... Way too expensive than the competitors. To make matters worse, during our move (8/11/2019), the movers scratched my hardwood floor but were prompt in recognizing the issue and submitting it right away to their "Claims" department (I doubt there is such a department as I have yet to receive a call from them or anyone from this company in the matter). I have been calling them constantly to follow up on the claim as I am in the process of finalizing a sale on my house and have still not gotten a resolution. I keep getting the run arounds every time I call them and never get any followup call backs as they always promise. It's 8/30/19 today and still no resolution and I am closing on my house in less than a week. My latest call conversation was on Wednesday, 8/28/19 and the representative promised he would give me a status update on the same day and still nothing 2 days later. Mind you, when they were partially down with the work on the first day, they requested payment to be made right before they could leave my house but it's taking them weeks to even attempt to process my claim. I was given a great quote for my move in today. I guess you could say I was blessed because my storage facility was less than a minute from my new home. I had a few things in storage and it took them a total of one half hour to load up the truck. I have a big queen size bed with pillow top mattresses, washer and dryer, dinette set and a few other items. I was even helping out when they got to my apartment. As they unloaded, I cleaned off the items. They asked if they could set up the bed and dinette set for me and they did.....QUICKLY!!! They got my stuff unloaded and set up within the two hour frame. I think it was less than two hours but it was fast. They didn't mess up anything, damage or put damage to walls or ceilings. Everything was handled with care. If you want a moving company that's good with your budget, PLEASE CALL THEM!!! I definitely recommend them now and in the future!!! I loved my movers Lamar and Scott. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness, order and processes in place. The teachers are amazing. Because of this school, being a working parents has worked for us. Their staff truly cares for the children, knowing their names even when they aren't in their class. The kids truly have a day of fun, learning and play. The teacher tenure is outstanding, it is so nice to see so many of the same teachers caring for my second with the same attention and noticing the similarities between the siblings. The owners don't cut corners; extra programs like music class, field trips (older age kids), and quality snacks are included. While this is a business, they put the interests of the children and the families first. One night a serious accident caused many parents to stuck in traffic and late. Our children were fed dinner and cared for without a second thought, we were just asked to take our time and drive safely. While this wasn't the closest location to our home, we made the drive because it was worth it. We now sadly leave because of school-aged children.

My husband and I had a quote from another company, but Efficient Moving was half the price! Plus, they took apart and put back together some pretty complex furniture for us. They charge only for what they move, so if you move your own things ahead of time or add more to your list (we did both of these things), you only pay for what work actually occurred. I used to move a lot for work and had company-paid "professional" movers that pale in comparison to these guys. I honestly can't imagine going with anyone else when moving. Unfortunately for us, this new house will likely be our forever home, so we won't be needing them again...but I wish we could hire them again and again! YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD. You won't regret it.
