Great location of a popular brewery. It was a treat to visit this location when I was visiting. I was treated to the same chill vibe you can always expect from other half, with tons of cute doggies. They had their standard menu of beers along with canned cocktails and special cocktails for the non beer drinkers. It wasn't huge inside but the overflow of guests could find more seating outside. Great view of the river and some interesting people watching at domino park rounded out the afternoon.

This is the original location of one of my favorite hazy breweries. We have tried them in dc and philly but this one is the best for beer in my opinion. They have a tone of great unique hazies that are different rough to stand out amongst each other. I like mine of the fruits and complex side and they definitly had both. The first time we ever went here it wasn't too busy but over the last few years it has gotten packed. Its a big place but it fills up just as quickly. A new part they added was the slider option which even has a good vegan option. Overall some great hazy beers if that's what your into.

Incredible beers and right next to domino park. Very spacious brewery with a few TVs. Service was quick.

Spacious place with few selection of beers and cocktails, priced ok. It's by the water so it's nice to grab a drink after a nice walk. Sitting arrangements are typical for a brewery, not much service other than at the ordering counter, as it usually is at breweries.

We had such a nice time at Other Half Brewing, the 2nd time that we visited this year. Just an overall great selection of cans, bottles & taps plus some cocktails. I had this exceptional Frozen concoction similar to a boozy white russian. It hit the spot. Staff is delightful. They could use a lot more seating, I do not know if it is a zone thing or what. Maybe some long long high tables running down the center. Once seated, it is a fabulous time. Dogs welcome, there was even a water bowl on the floor. You can order food from Roberta's next door (and possibly elsewhere, we were headed to dinner so only had drinks) Will return again soon for sure.

The location is great and has a view of the water. This brewery has the best beer in NYC, maybe top IPAs in general.

Preferred pre-game spot when we have later reservations at Laser Wolf! Both times we visited the place was hopping and finding seating is best left to Lisa E, who just has that natural knack for seeing an opening. The group that was leaving and offering the table, offered us the remaining half. bottle of a special Wakefield collab 10 month barrel aged stout that poured like oil and tasted sublime. I followed with a draft pour of their limited 2 year that was even better. Lisa E had some fancy frozen cocktail that she thorougly enjoyed. Not often near Domino PArk, but when we are we certainly will make another return visit.

I'm so glad I tried this taproom! The space is large but it was very busy when we visited. Our group of 5 managed to get a table after about 15-20 minutes of waiting. The place had lots of dogs and a few strollers as well, although it was very loud inside so may not be for all dogs/children. The location is great as well. There are large tall windows so on a nice day, it's a great place to relax. We loved the huge variety of beers they had. I hope to visit again!

Ok if you are a beer connoisseur you need to check this place out. The menu is extensive and the options go on and on. Great space inside and out. The outdoor area has fantastic views of Domino Park. The vibe is super relaxed and seems to attract a range of patrons. The bartender was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed some type of blueberry beer that is pretty out of the norm for me and it it was absolutely delicious!

The Madcap Monuments IPA is delicious. Soccer (football) on TV. Without a doubt the loudest beer brewery I've ever been in. On a happy note, they have an excellent selection of Weller bourbon.

Other Half Brewing is a great modern brewery with tasty beers. It's pet-friendly, so you can bring your dog along. Bartenders provided great service and advice on what to drink depending on your beer preferences. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink especially since it's right in front of the East River and next to the Williamsburg Bridge. My gf and I got to see a gorgeous sunset behind the NY skyline. An unforgettable time.

Enjoyed checking out this brewery while at domino park. It's dog friendly and lots of space to hang out at. You can also order Roberta's pizza to eat while drinking. I liked having the option to order a flight so that I can try different beer options. The bartenders were also very friendly.

This weekend was my second time going to Other Half - it was around mid-afternoon on Sunday, and it was packed with people! Quite a variety between families, dates, and groups of friends. Because it was so busy, lines moved at about an average pace. The beer was quite good, though I will say I preferred the sour I had gotten in my previous visit versus this one. That said, I'd still return to try whatever is on draft in a few months. If you're looking for food, it seems like you can order from Robertas to enjoy at OH.

Super unique array of beers and tastes. Scenic views and great playlist. Have also visited the DC location in Ivy City and would return.

Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by the manager and other staff to make sure I was all settled for my party, which I really appreciated. This space has a partnership with a pizza place up the street to order food but also provides flexibility to bring in your own food which a lot of places do not allow. They also allowed me to bring balloons and cake which many places also don't allow. I had around 40 people and there was plenty of space to sit down or stand. It wasn't too loud so I was able to have a conversation with friends while also enjoying the music. The music was great and we even stayed afterwards to enjoy the DJ and the vibes were still strong. If you're looking for a private space, this is the perfect spot for your party! My friends are still talking about how cool this space was and were very impressed!

After opening a number of successful bars in New York City, including Death & Company and Cienfuegos, DeRossi decided to open a new bar with a focus on rare, new, and unusual craft beer offerings. Originally opening in the St. Marks section of the East Village, Proletariat quickly earned a reputation for being one of the best craft beer bars in NYC. In June 2022, Proletariat moved to a new, larger space just two blocks away on East 7th Street. In addition to the excellent beer selection, the new location also features a kitchen that offers an array of plant-based dining options. I recently visited Proletariat while I was in the Village to see a concert. I arrived a few hours before the show so I could grab some beers and bites beforehand. Proletariat has been on my NYC craft beer bucket list for a while; they have an excellent reputation. There were maybe four other customers there when I arrived; I felt like I was entering a secret craft beer club. I really liked the wolf featured on the bar's logo. It was clearly a reference to the Latin botanical term for hops: "humulus lupulus", which roughly translates as "the little wolf that comes from the Earth". There were 20 impressive beers on draught during my visit. I decided to order a pour of The Drowned Lands Brewery's "Winnow" (Festbier). It was an excellent example of the style: light and malty. Afterwards, I went with a pour of Sante Adairius Rustic Ales' "The Sky and the Sea" (Blueberry Saison). This was a fantastic beer: nice and tart with delicious notes of blueberries. If you're looking for some great craft beer bars in NYC then add Proletariat to your list!
