The leftovers of the amazing gnocchi pasta! Get this if you can.
Ben T.

Found this purely by chance when walking around Florence and after checking out the yelp reviews I figured it wouldn't be a bad use of time. I had the prosciutto di melone and the beef carpaccio and my friend had the gnocchi. All of these were very very nice (prosciutto di melone is always a safe choice in Italy) the beef carpaccio was very well presented and tasted amazing. The Gnocchi was one of the best pasta's I have ever tasted, And I eat a lot of pasta. This was a great night out and the service was very very quick which is very very important to me. Even though it is hidden away, just a short walk from the ponte vecchio it is well worth the walk and as long as you reserve a place you will be absolutely fine. Thank you so much for a great night out and I hope to see you again soon.

Decent food, good service. Wouldn't go back only because of other great restaurants in the Siena area.

If you want an amazing, authentic Italian dinner when visiting Siena look for further…read more There are so many positives that I just do not know where to begin. It is off the tourist street. As soon as you walk in you will feel like you belong. The food is inexpensive. Be like a true Italian and order in each catagory. TIP-get your vegetable order with your meal and not as a starter. When we got there only one other table was enjoying themselves. By the time we started eating the place was full. I absolutely loved that with the exception of one other table the restaurant had residents that eat there often since they were all known. The restaurant is charming and cozy. The staff made me never want to leave and I wanted to be part of this Italian culture. The prices are unbelievable!!! That is another reason that we ordered to much food. Most likely the least expensive meal we enjoyed while in Italy. My ONLY regret was that we did not save room for dessert. We had already paid when I saw most other tables being served tiramisu. With the food as delicious as it was I can only imagine what the tiramisu must have tasted like. I will 10000% choose to eat here again if we return to Siena. Also from what I have seen in other reviews it seems that the prices are still the same. That is to be applauded.

Everything here was delightful. The food, the staff... Even the house wine was delicious. We ended…read moreup eating EVERYTHING. Even used the bread to soak up all the sauce on our plate at the end. We had bruschetta as a starter and it was perfect. One of the best I've had in Italy. Leaving a review so that I know to come back here in the future! A full meal that was delicious and easy on the wallet!

Was looking for a change-of-pace from consecutive days of Italian cuisine. Had a sneaking…read moresuspicion that Greek food might be better in Italy than it is in the States, and I was spot on. Super nice staff greeted us when we walked in, and the interior looks small but inviting. We ended up ordering carryout (or, "takeaway," as they say here), and the food was a pleasant surprise. The Greek salad doesn't have lettuce, but the tomatoes, feta, capers, olives, onions, etc. are very fresh and delicious. The tsatsiki is creamy and tart, and is a a excellent complement to the Greek chicken souvlaki. And...the souvlaki is so flavorful and so fresh, that it was a unanimous hit. If you are in the mood for something other than pasta, give this place a try!

The eggplant dish was the best I've ever had in my life - and I'm 54. The service was excellent and our friendly, helpful waitress was fluent in English and generous in answering our questions. The front of the restaurant has a countertop and is brightly lit, but the main seating patio in the back is quiet, pleasantly dark, and small but roomy (there is plenty of space between the tables which we found was not often the case in crowded Florence). I highly recommend this hidden gem!
