This is definitely a restaurant designed for tourists. Three slices of bread were tossed on the table in a paper bag, along with two packages of Parmesan cheese. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper grinders on the table for self-service. I ordered the ravioli with a porcini mushroom cream sauce. The ravioli is filled with spinach and cheese. There's small pieces of crisp ham on top. The flavor is rather bland. Portions are large. The restaurant is large and well lit. Service was quick. The wait help is into quick turnover. I was prodded along because.I was eating slowly. The food is highly overrated on Yelp, especially if you are a foodie.

Blues and jazz play softly in the background while our waiter goes over the menu (which by the way is loaded with delicious options) she's very sweet and speaks English very well, which made our order a bit easier, as my Italian is non così buono (not so good) We ordered the octopus carpaccio, baked clams, and the gnocchi with smoked duck breast as starters to share. We also ordered the beef bone steak with vegetables. Every single dish left us excited for the next. Not one item was over cooked, or under spiced. Perfectly cooked is all I experienced. I would recommend this place over and over again!!! I had the mushroom and prosciutto pizza. It was very good and better than what I had in Venice. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was modern and clean. Additionally, I walked there from my hotel (which is located in a business/industrial park only a quarter mile away). It was dusk when I walked there; but fully dark when I was done eating. The street lights along the path back to the hotel don't work, and the area is desolate at night. A creepy guy in a van followed me and started catcalling me; so I ran back to the restaurant and tried to get an Uber since I was by myself. There were no Uber's in the area so I asked the owners of the restaurant to call me a cab. The male owner did not speak English, but his wife did. They insisted on driving me back to my hotel! They felt sorry for me and were so nice. I am very grateful for their hospitality....they went way beyond the call of duty!

There was definitely a line for tables when we left. We wanted a light dinner so we only got lasagna and a glass of wine, but the service was wonderful and it was the best lasagna of my life. The interior of this restaurant was small, but really cute all the food at all the tables looked amazing. I would definitely want to eat here again and try more things. This was a wonderful dinner.

Unfortunately our wait staff had major issues getting the orders through. In the end what we thought were small personal pizzas ended up being full size ones. Simply too much food for three people. The quality of the dish was questionable at best and gave each of us terrible upset stomachs for the rest of our day in Venice. Overall just an extremely disappointing experience.
