The family is so sweet, and the food is just so comforting. We ordered the same two delicious dishes, both nights-The Pork Roast, and The Smothered Burger patty. The pork came with crackling, boiled potatoes, gravy, and braised red cabbage. Everything on the plate was perfect! The fried beef patty was smothered with onions and gravy, and was served over a mound of fries, sitting in even more gravy... FANTASTIC! Both dishes reminded us of family meals we would get back home in the states. You first place your order inside at the bar, and then the food is brought out to you. It was a bit chilly on the patio, so it was nice to have the blankets provided by the restaurant, at our disposal. Oh, and the candles were very hygge as well. The service took a while, but the restaurant was really busy. We didn't mind waiting though, as we sat and chatted with one of the granddaughters while we waited. She was so-so sweet, and so kind to share such personal stories with us. As these nostalgic meals, reminded us of lost loved ones, it was touching to hear such personal family stories. Meat had a very good flavour with a lot of spices dominating the taste which is correct for my taste (since it's in most cases lamb which has a very strong odour). Price was 39DKK which is probably slightly more than other shawarma bars around Norrebro but totally okay with me and it is worth it.
