As soon as we had a room we tossed all our luggage inside and went for a walk. It was about 10pm local time and we were just crossing our fingers hoping to find a good Italian meal. Well our hotel is located on the mainland and unfortunately everything was closed. So we just walked around and while walking down what appeared to be a residential street heard music and stumbled across this hidden gem. It's cute, quite and quaint. The dining room is old world, the chef delivers his food to the table and happily describes his works of art exhausted, perspiring and out of breath, but proud and anxious. We only had a small plate of spaghetti and some wine but it was delicious! It was more than delicious it was the best spaghetti we have had. We ate, drank and talked into the night. The families dining around us ordered plate after plate after plate....... We soaked in the background noise of children and family speaking Italian.......laughing and having a splendid evening. I wish we were here a couple more days so we could go back. If your in the area don't pass this up!

A sprinkle of salt and some lemon improved it, but it still wasn't something I'd want again. My companions had the seafood salad and the scallops and they both enjoyed their dishes. You really cannot go wrong with any of these as how they were severed though my personal favorite were the lentils and the fennel.
