When I first walked in the male at the desk was not very friendly and did not even greet us. We were handed over to the piercers and one asked the other "Do you want her or do you want me to take her?" the other responded "I don't care". At this point I'm don't really feel like a valued customer, I'm just whatever to them. Not one person said hello to me, introduced themself, or even asked me my name. The whole process felt like I was being rushed and they wanted me in and out very quickly (despite no other customers in the shop). I was moved to the small room in the back and every question I asked felt like I was bothering the piercer, giving me short answers instead of helping me to make a decision. The jewelry did not seem properly sterilized, just quickly sprayed down, no autoclave machine. I did not even see the piercer wash her hands. With the unfriendly and unprofessional staff, hot and stuffy room, the piercer's baby crying in the small shop, and unclean practices I chose to leave. I did have to pay $20 because the piercer said she already opened the needle (which was opened before selecting jewelry and marking). Not complaining because I understand those are her supplies, but I wish she waited until she saw that I was ready and comfortable. Was hoping for a different outcome because I saw so many great reviews, but perhaps I caught them on an off day like a few other negative reviews mentioned

Okay If you're looking for someone who saved my nipples from being a total disaster go see Shorty…read moreshe is the best The shop was nice good vibes. I went in shaking and honestly. I already had an infection from a botched job somewhere else plus a not so smart er doctor my nipple where Swollen, angry, red as hell--I thought I'd have to rip them out myself. But Shorty just took one look, no drama, and said, "Sit. We're fixing this." She was so calm and knowledgeable and kept me laughing throughout my ordeal she Gloved up, fresh everything, and slid those rings out with this gentle, steady pull. No tugging, no pain--just... gone. Like magic. Then she cleaned me up, gave me aftercare tips that actually worked, and told me to come back if I had any questions or problems. The whole thing Over in five minutes. And yeah--she's tiny, but those hands are rock-solid. Shorty is an Absolute legend great piercer, and knowledgeable medical field. I walked out feeling fixed, I'd let her save me again--any day. Thank you Shorty again you the best. thinking about getting my septum pierced definitely going to Shorty.

I had the misfortune of taking my cousin for their Friday the 13th promotional night- and at first,…read moreI really wanted to like this place. They had a great selection of flash, it was fun, and seemed like a cool little local tattoo shop. As the night wore on- more was revealed. First, although we would be purchasing 6 $31 tattoos- we saw at least half a dozen people get tattooed ahead of us. "These nights are so hectic", I told myself- hard to keep track of everyone. Then, as we waited there for two hours- we were witness to all kinds of loud inappropriate jokes about anal sex and was "pitcher" and who was "catcher". I tried to be understanding- although this was explicitly homophobic- tattoo shops aren't daycares. What set me over the top was the license plate on the wall of the owner- Justin's tattoo area. It read "RAP3VAN". I am a sexual assault survivor and was assaulted last year. 1 in 4 women is sexually assaulted in their lifetime. To joke about such a horrendous thing is inexcusable and disgusting. My cousin was tattooed by Vic, who was rude right off the bat. He was calling us "Tabitha" and "Erica" in a silly British accent instead of our names. He didn't seem to find the humor when I started calling him "Stanley" back. Apparently making your living carving cartoons into people's skin entitles you to behave any way you wish. I watched Vic joke around and make snide remarks to his co-workers while sloppily prepping for my cousin's tattoos. He was so haphazard in making the stencil that it made me nervous. He didn't even attempt to position the tattoos thoughtfully- as he plopped them down and looked for approval. At one point, I stood my cousin up to make sure the position of the stencil would look good from a standing position. Vic just seemed annoyed I would do these minimal considerations that are standard when you see a tattoo artist who actually cares about their craft. He whizzed through the tattoos and when I exclaimed "Oh these look good!" (They didn't- they had shaky inconsistent line work and scratchy shading) - he mocked me repeatedly. He also positioned my cousin's bats way too close to her existing tattoo. I was the one paying for the tattoos so that resulted in no tip. While he was tattooing- his co-worker approached him about doing another walk-in. It was a group of black women and one woman wanted a Gold tattoo. Vic loudly protested that he didn't want to do Gold on black skin and why. The woman wanting the tattoo overheard him and angrily exclaimed that he was being rude. To which- you guessed it- he used the extent of his emotional intelligence and professional courtesy- and cruelly mocked her and told her- "I can't understand you unless you use your big words." She understandably got very upset and raised her voice causing a disturbance to which the owner of the shop (the charming and respectful Justin) - told her to get out and that she was "ugly". Naturally, this angered the woman more and she refused to leave. What was scary was not her emotional declarations- but how quick to racism and violence all the men in the shop were. One tattoo artist called her a "retar*ed hooker". The owner stated, "and that's why you don't smoke crack". The sentiment in the shop was horrifically juvenile and hateful. If you are a fan of horrible tattoos, being abused, racism, homophobia, sexism, and oh- motorcycles- this the place to go.
