Most recently, in 2016 when my husband and I decided we were going to build a house the following year and wanted to include numerous salvaged pieces in the Craftsman style house, Julie and J were there to help as we bounced ideas off them. They really helped us to formulate our ideas and concepts into actual additions into our new home. Julie helped me find the perfect ridge beam to use as a mantle. We also got (local) Buckstaff factory flooring which we installed into the tray ceiling in our dining room, which J actually cut down for us at the shop because the bundle wouldn't fit in our jeep! We also found the perfect claw foot tub for our bathroom, a couple vintage doors, hardware...not to mention my favorite piece, the trap door from Buckstaff Company, which is now an art piece, hanging prominently on the wall in our home. They also kept an eye out and helped find the perfect vintage buffet to use as a bar! We have so many pieces around our house that could not have come to fruition without Crescent Moon Antiques & Salvage. Julie and J are always excited to hear what projects and ideas we are pondering. Even if I'm not already brewing an idea, just taking some time to walk through the shop is so inspiring that I come away with project ideas! Julie and J are incredibly passionate about preserving history and tastefully incorporating salvaged materials or pieces into homes and businesses. Not only that, but Julie and J are SO much fun to work with! We're so lucky to have this wonderful shop and such amazing people in Downtown Oshkosh!

She was instrumental in closing this deal and meeting my needs. I travel all over America and had been looking at jewlers from California to Indianapolis. I had been collecting photos of the Rings that where the "Contenders" and one the top Contenders was found in Oshkosh at Tennies. This ring is beautiful and with excellent craftsmanship... however I didn't buy. I kept traveling and couldn't shake the feeling that the ring I wanted was in Oshkosh. Amy not only worked with me over the phone some time later but ultimately was able to cut me an excellent deal and ship my ring to my location in under a week with custom engravings and excellent presentation( much thank you to the Appleton store for that!) Over all -As high of quality as the jewlers in Chicago,LA , Pheonix, Indianapolis - about a 1k savings. - excellent customer service and kept their word with shipping and time lines - Amy was an all star - very happy with ring

I asked the clerk if it was a good brand and they didnt know but we both thought " Its Gesso. What could go wrong?" Well, it totally went wrong. When I applied layers of Gesso it became broken apart and coagulated. It was as if it couldnt apply as it kept breaking apart, even after the 4 the layer and applied acrylic paint it still would come apart. It took me longer to prep my canvases because of this and I was on a strict time schedule because of a solo art show I was preparing for. I contacted them and on their site it said that they would respond to you in a few days. The only email I got from them was an automatic reply that they received it. This has been over a month now.
