I dropped just under $200 on 5 different pieces, a cardigan, a sweater, & 3 dresses and I could not be more in love! Some places you can tell by the fabric that it was "made cheap" but this place is just the opposite! I somehow found a way to wear all 5 pieces within the first 3 days of my purchase. No buyers remorse. Worth every penny! I will be back! Not to mention, I came into their store 10 minutes before closing and both the woman let me stay to try on things and asked cheered me on when I came out to show them!

Being that it was established many moons ago (1969) by a man and a woman (husband and wife Donald…read moreFisher Doris F. Fisher) it stands to reason it represents clothing both for men and women. I've long had a bit of a sour feeling about The Gap as it bought out The Banana Republic, turning it from a khaki and world-traveller haven (I got maps, safari hats, and other explorer accoutrements there) to one of many woman-heavy nondescript fashion stores. Well, I can't hold 'em against them here ... rather, if I'll take that up if I ever feel like reviewing the Banana Republic about 50 yards away on the other side of the Traverse Mountain courtyard. I digress. The Gap is hopping. Other clothing stores are -- at the same time -- populated with a sales associate to every customer, The Gap is crowded and energized. So, obviously no review is going to stop 'em. Men, women, children, the whole family can find clothes here. It does, however, trend toward the family-friendly (kids running all over), a large section of kids clothes. As for colors (and keep in mind I came in May) the colors trended toward the light and dynamic colors. The Gap -- as it was in its infancy -- big on jeans. Also big on tees (again, I'm here on the borderline of summer). As for style, think the "fun, fashion, and value" and youthful style of another company The Gap bought out, Old Navy. Are the prices good? Well 40, 50, 75% off so there are pockets of pretty good prices (albeit marked down from insane retail MSRP). Not a lot that fit me, so I can't say it has much value to anyone not amongst the healthy heights or weights. In the end there's a lot for you out there ... just not much for me.

On this visit, I didn't find as many clothing options as I usually do, and the selection felt a bit smaller compared to other locations I've been to. Overall, it was a fun and worthwhile experience as always. Just a heads‑up, their return policy is 7 days and for in‑store credit only, so you don't get a refund. The staff was very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better.

Quality over quantity would do them some good. their wait time for selling is at least an hour and a half every time I've tried recently so you're better off selling on marketplace yourself honestly. Not to mention the smell inside is so strange, like yes thrift stores have a certain scent but an air freshener would help. They've definitely been over pricing stuff as well. It used to be a lot more affordable, but asking $8 for a used Zara T-shirt with holes and stains as wild.

Overall cute store, a little pricey, but great quality. I'm giving it four stars because the girls in the store didn't say a single word to my sister and I. Keep in mind we're both Latino, but when other white girls walked in they were greeted. I usually don't think about the race issue a ton, but I definitely felt ignored. I will be back because some clothes are worth spending money on, but I'll have to do it with anticipation of what items I'll be looking for, that way I don't feel out of place or ignored by the girls in the store.
