I have no kids. I don't plan on having any kids in the near future. I am the youngest of my family and My brother has no kids. THUS when it comes to children/babies I am probably the worst person to be thrown into the mix of things. My cousin recently had a son. Its the first person of my immediate generation of family to have a baby. The baby is adorable and is loved very very much. Ok on to my crazy baby clothes shopping story. My aunt asks me to exchange a pair for shoes for a size bigger. (I guess baby's feet grow rapidly and feet size are always changing...) After going to the great mall location twice and striking out on sizes there (EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID NEW SIZES WILL BE COMING IN.. nothing came in..) I called into the gilroy location to make sure they have the right size before traveling 45minutes to strike out again. Gina.. I think.. Answered the phone. very nice girl. very polite. They didn't have the size shoe I needed but they did have the NEXT size up and my Auntie said that was fine. I go at 11am to gilroy to exchange the shoes.. The store was very empty. Very organized and had a nice selection of clothes on sale. (50%-70% off!) The had jewerly in the girl's section and cute board shorts/hats in the boy's section. I ended up buying clothes for my cousin's son there.. sooo cute! When I go up to exhange the lady at the counter told me I had to go to another isle and wait for the manager. This guy was casually talking to another employee.. hears that we need assistance and looks at us and continues with his conversation! Very rude. He was in the middle of the store laughing it up with some lady worker. About 5 minutes later of my staring at him he finally comes over and I know they were talking about personal stuff because as he walks over the lady coworker says "Yeh well make sure she gets sh*t straight because you know she'll always want her way..." I was in total shock. Its a kids store. Kids are present and the manager and the workers are cussing in front of them talking about who knows what making the customers wait AND to make things worse he was struggling with the exchanged item. ALSO if you are a manager of the store I WOULD HOPE that you would know what you are selling too. Since I have no concept of sizes for kids, I showed the manager a hat I wanted to buy. I said " when a hat says infant 4-7 what does that mean?" It looks too big for a 4month - 7 month old and in my opinion if it was a 4-7yr old it wouldnt say infant. He says "uhhh I don't know.. like.. you know.. 4-7 years old" So i stopped.. and said "oh uhhh ok." We bought our stuff and left. to sum it up -nice selection of clothes for cheap there -very rude, ignorant workers.. (except for the lady on the phone.) read more

Very disappointing when you find an item in the clearance that was marked for a reduced for 3.99. go to the register and it's not rung up as the sale price. Great customer service will honor the price that was on there, as well as not accuse the person trying to buy clothes of changing stickers. (Which I totally know happens in on this case). Cashier Yanett, and acting supervisor next to her with long black hair, and darker complexion was not wearing her name tag. Oshkosh, you are getting whacked down a star. Technically it's more like a star and a half, but since Yelp only does full stars, I'll be nice and put you at a three. The selection and pricing here are GREAT, don't get me wrong, but your staff is weird. And kinda lame. My hubby's in the middle of trying to chase our hyper toddler down and you literally step in his way to ask if you can help him find anything? Weird. And then I get up to the counter with an armload of clothing and it takes you an eternity (OK, probably more like two minutes) of looking at me before you ask if I'm ready to be rung up? Lame. We'll still stop by in the future, because the prices are killer. But seriously, get yourself some better staff, or next time I'm bringing mace & an airhorn - so I can be as weird and obnoxious as your staff. read more

I like this store. Prices are a good deal and quality of clothes is pretty decent. However, I agree with other customers pointing out that sometimes staff members are no nice. I was there the other day and my little son (2 years old) he was running around while shopping and one of staff members told him that he couldn't run around. He wasn't alone I was next to him following the whole time making sure he did not get in trouble. So I asked myself What's the point of having a store for kids if they cannot act like themselves? Do Oshkosh B'gosh expects that a 2 years old boy shops like a grown-up? That means tries clothes on, pays for merchandise and leaves like in 5 minutes? Well if you have kids you know that's impossible, they like to walk, talk, and explore around. Just get staff members that are kids friendly and more kind with people in general. read more

Saturday afternoon and I had an awesome experience at this store shopping with my toddler. There were a few customers here and there not too many to make it uncomfortable. Every time I needed a dressing room one was readily available. Even though my 2 year old was behaving like a 2 year old does, screaming and trying to run around the associates were very friendly and asking if I needed help. My son is a skinny boy so I was having trouble finding jeans for him. Leti S. went out of her way to explain and show me how the adjustable waist works I was amazed lol. This is my first child and even though most of his pants have this feature I had NO IDEA. Now I can adjust all his pants accordingly :) Great selection, I do think they need more shoes however overall this was an exceptional visit especially because Leti S. went out of her way to teach me something I had no idea about with kids clothes yaay. read more
