Great variety of vendors and fair prices. Friendly helpful people. Easy access from South Durham.

If you ever feel the need to get your "redneck" on, this is the place to go! The on site cartoon…read moreartist is actually REALLY good and for $5 you get a REALLY good self portrait. It's like the biggest yard sale in the world, indoors. If you're the type to complain about anything there, you just dont like people who arent like "you" lol Food of all types as well as the people. A real smorgasbord on all levels..... Could this place use some upgrades and updates Yes But if it ever did, itll never be the same and the prices would go up and it would undoubtedly then fail. Just keep riding it out decade after decade and we'll keep stopping in for treats and a bite to eat. -The Fickle Finger of Fate

I have a soft spot for old-timey junk heaps like this place…read more I grew up going to them and although they are dirty and weird and full of crap, there's a charm to them that I wouldn't want to see go away. I think. This place is no different, you get all kinds of baked good, smoked meats, antiques, cell phone cases, e-Cigs, Funko Pops, dvd's, knock-off sunglasses, Chip Truck Fries, you name it. It has it all. I get the appeal and I get that some people would hate this place. I'm somewhere in the middle. If you like these kinds of places, I think you owe it to yourself to check it out. The should just rename the place "BUYER BEWARE" however when it comes to the food, the quality of the items here, and even the tolerance by the vendors, you never know what you're gonna get. The last thing I saw before I left was a shop aimed at bikers/Hell's Angels types that was proudly displaying, at the CASH REGISTER, a shirt that said "Welcome To Canada! Fit In Or Fuck Off!" which, offense aside, kind of sums up this place. Bikers are traditionally founded on the very idea of non-conformity and anarchy, of bucking trends and social norms, so a shirt like this just kind of screams inauthenticity and it speaks volumes in so many ways of the kind of foot traffic these places gets. Or maybe it doesn't. I don't know. This place is weird. Check it out. Or don't.

Junction Flea Market now expanding even beyond the Summer months... But during the harsh winter…read moreseason, it had moved inside to The Great Hall on Queen St West. $5 admission can make or break the deal, at least for me. Decent to wander around, Most of the stalls are selling antique and reused items. If you are looking for used loathing's, furniture, keepsakes maybe this is for you. I was a little disappointed because there were only a handful of vendors and I was expecting a lot more! There were a few food vendors including Manual Labour Coffee for some pour over coffee, FeasT.O for dumplings and Ramen.. I might wait till the weather is nice and warm again visiting the outdoor market instead.

.@junctionflea This was fun! I might not go every weekend, but definitely something to look forward…read moreto on a lazy Sunday morning. If you enjoy outdoor festivals and looking at unique things, take a gander at the flea market once a month. For a $2 admission, the parking lot is filled with stalls of different vintage and antique dealers, among them some artists. Some things seemed very over priced, but others quite reasonable. A lot of the things I over heard was, "omg I used to have that!" Or "My mom has something like that", while they kept walking. Although a lot of people keep walking just looking at the novelties, if you're looking for something specific like a decorative piece, an old toy reminding you of your childhood, or some vintage clothes or cooking equipment, you'll find it here. Best part (and the only reason I think my husband in enjoys this with me) is the beer and munchies they sell. There's a beer stall, tacos, homemade popsicles and a coffee trailer. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
