Park Lake Dental has been my dental provider for probably about 18 years. As a child I was very…read morenervous about going to the dentist due to some previous traumatic experiences. They were, and still are, very respectful of my concerns and sensitivities. From the first two or three visits, they remembered my needs without me having to remind them. Only once have I ever had a small issue with their work (filling was not perfect, caused painful bite) and they were very responsive to that. When my insurance provider changed, I was very worried when I learned they didn't take my new insurance. I hesitantly asked what my out-of-pocket cost would be without any insurance. It was VERY reasonable, and for context, I'm definitely on the lower end of the earning spectrum. It's been a few years now and even when I need fillings and x-rays, the cost is very affordable. Park Lake Dental is very convenient in that they are just a few minutes from my house. That said, they are so excellent I would gladly travel 30-45 minutes just to know that I will receive the absolute best care. Today I brought my 3 and a half year old daughter for her first ever dentist visit. They couldn't have been more encouraging and supportive. They offered her surprise toys and stickers for doing well, they were enthusiastic and very friendly with her, and even had a supportive friend she got to interact with which made her day. My daughter has been so excited all day and has been telling everyone her friends at the dentist were so nice to her. TL;DR: I can't imagine ever changing providers. I don't think anyone else would give as thorough, cost-effective, and empathetic care. I highly suggest Park Lake Dental for anyone who either does not have or isn't happy with their current dental provider.

She was already uncomfortable with the normal teeth cleanings and X-rays so I knew she would not like having to get a shot and teeth worked on. Dr. Bala tried comforting her by explaining what he was going to do and had no problem stopping if he thought she was uncomfortable. The office itself is very clean, welcoming and bright. There are televisions above the exam chairs to help distract the kids while they get work done. Dr. Bala has many assistants that help get the patients in and out in a timely manner. And although my kids are still hesitant going to the dentist, it is not out of fear. They just don't like the taste of the vitamins they put on their teeth. First visit with Dr. Tsang and staff. From my first phone call to Crystal explaining why I was…read morelooking for a new dentist, to the efficiency of new patients forms emailed (less direct contact during COVID-19), to discussions of wether or not I should get prior records to my first visit, I could not have felt more positive about being a person that was cared for and not a faceless number. Welcoming, professional and compassionate at every encounter. A day before my appointment I was emailed a Covid questionnaire, and my temperature was taken upon arrival. Staff wearing masks and face shields. A very efficiency run practice. Crystal who answered the phone also did my x-rays, the doctor also took photos of my teeth, did a full examination, went over my hot spots with suggestions and treatment plans, and he did my cleaning. The dental assistant was in there assisting with water and suction while the doctor used the ultrasound to clean, picks for under the gums and polished. Quick, painless (always checked to see if I was comfortable and could raise my hand to indicate sensitivity) and professional. Dr. Tsang and I had a frank discussion about my gums and overall teeth health and I left with a plan, follow up visit and equipment to better care for my oral health. Your parting gift bag does not include a .50 generic toothbrush and floss, but a spin brush for better gum health, floss and toothpaste. He also suggested using an air floss which I purchased from him for less than Target prices (I checked). Dr. Tsang and his office are true professionals who care for your health and treat you as a person and not a wallet. My bad I didn't ask enough on my first two visits but the concerns have been resolved in today's visit. Receptionists and dental assistants are still very nice, helpful & thoughtful. Dr. Tsang tried his very best and did a great job on fixing the diastema and reshape without numbing. This time I asked lot of questions, make sure there was no miscommunication and on the same page before the fixing processes. Dr. was willing to explain and communicate, which ended up I am satisfied with the results, no pain, that matters the most in a dental visit - GENTLE WITH NO PAIN!
