A1 Ready Mix concrete must be under new ownership! We've…read morebought concrete from A1 Ready Mix in Warrenton, OR and I thought we had an account with them so I didn't pay the driver when he asked how I wanted to do the billing. I thought for sure we had an account. The entire invoice amount was $666, and this was the amount I was obligated to pay. But then I got a call from their office person because we apparently don't have an account (I know we did). So I paid the balance on the spot with my card, only she decided to charge my card an extra $85. When I confronted her about the receipt I was holding that the driver gave me to pay for $666 (this is what I was supposed to pay), she said it was for the time it took the driver to pour the concrete. It was clear as a bell-you could hear it in her voice-that she had decided at the moment to overbill me. When you order concrete you pay for the concrete, the delivery charge, a fuel surcharge-and I had to pay for it being a short load of less than 3 yards of concrete. But they don't tack on after the fact, or after the receipt has already been given to you, and additional fee for unloading the concrete. The time it takes to offload the concrete is already factored in. This is my first ever review of a company. I felt compelled to write this review as an act to simply hold this company accountable and to let people know what to watch out for. I will not be buying anymore concrete from these people.

Woody came out for a site visit before submitting a quote. He even recommended an excellent tree service to remove some large trees that had to go to make room for a new drain field. Took our credit card over the phone as well to avoid unnecessary contact. Ben, the owner/operator arrived and quickly went to work assessing our tanks; he said we were probably good for another year but I opted to go ahead and get it done. Ben was very knowledgeable and eager to share information, I learned alot about my septic system, showed me the filter and how to clean it out and how often, and he also gave advice on a few things he observed (intake pipe should be adjusted for grade; tree that we planted could be a problem in a few years, best to move it now) He also took time, after I asked him about the 4 cleanouts, to show me how they worked. For my 1000+ gal tank the total came to $565 for pumping after tax. Fast, friendly efficient\, knowledgable - i'd enthusiastically recommend Evergreen Septic to anyone who asked. Evergreen Septic has two Yelp listings, one in Long Beach, one in Ocean Park, not sure which would be the right one to keep
