Hello, Yelpers*. My…read morename is Alfonso Faustino, and I am a SAG-AFTRA actor. Recently, I got picked up by RSA Entertainment and Talent Management, and it was one of the best things that happened to me, as an actor, in 2018. Here are some of the areas that RSA Entertainment and Talent Managment excel in: - Auditions: they work effectively to get me auditions. Brenda and Gina have excellent long-standing reputations and connections in the entertainment industry -- both film and television mediums. Each time I go to an audition, the casting director or producer mention they know Gina and Brenda very well and always have positive things to say about them. - Pitch Package: they are experienced managers; hence, they immediately worked on my primary casting circle and created pitch package that hones in my primary casting to my agent (theatrical and commercial), casting directors, and producers; - They work well with my commercial and theatrical agent (Park Artist Group) in making certain that my casting sends out a clear and concise message about my casting; - They return emails and calls in less than 24 hours -- frequently, Brenda or Gina will return my emails or calls within minutes, and they always have an answer for me in their first response; - They are Subject Matter Experts in the entertainment market -- they have years and years of experience in the entertainment industry, and their information is current and also cutting edge. They can anticipate and forecast changes in the industry and apply those changes to my casting; - They are a one-stop-shop: In addition to managing me as an actor, they have reputable and proven team members that manage social media marketing, traditional marketing, and public relations. If I go to a red-carpet event, they have a person that will manage me on the carpet or any media-related event I need to attend. - They are honest and ethical: Brenda and Gina don't tell me the stuff I wanna hear -- rather, they tell me the stuff I need to know. If I see my casting is one way, they will evaluate me, and support my direction if it is correct; or, they will tell me, "no way -- your casting doesn't support that direction at this time." - Workshops: Brenda and Gina will host workshops at their office designed to help me excel in the entertainment industry. - Good People: Brenda, Gina, and the rest of the team are good and genuine people -- they want to help their talent succeed -- they really want the best for their talent and best for their company. These are just several items that stand out in my recent and new experiences with RSA Entertainment and Talent Management. If you're in the market for new management, give RSA Entertainment and Talent Management a ring and schedule a introduction meeting. Not only are they professional and very hands-on with me as their talent, the owner is a working model/actor...that makes a huge difference to me because she knows exactly what is going on in the industry, understands the ups and downs and can directly relate to what I experience. Anytime I have questions or concerns, they don't hesitate to respond quickly and I love that they take the time to send group emails with all sorts of information, from workshops we can sign up for to discussion about important topics related to auditioning, keeping our profiles current, etc. Although I am a veteran, I wish I had an agent that took the time to break down the way things work when I first started so I know the roster of newbies at KIT are not only getting opportunities they otherwise wouldn't have access to, they're getting an agent who wants to educate them to ensure they succeed. I've never had an agent who worked so hard for me and who cares so much...with get togethers, holiday parties and other gatherings, KIT wants to be more than just an agent with a bunch of people on their roster. It really does feel like a family and I look forward to continuing to work with them for many years to come. Highly recommend!

Finding My Dream Job During A Worldwide Pandemic…read more I saw the most perfect job position posted on Indeed by 80Twenty that aligned with everything I wanted with my career. I applied immediately, and checked for the next few days, if my application had been viewed. Knowing how competitive Los Angeles is, not to mention how much more it is now during a pandemic, I searched for the job posting on LinkedIn, hoping I could and a direct message to the assigned recruiter. At the time the job wasn't posted and there were multiple recruiters that worked with 80Twenty. I went through each profile, seeing if maybe they were separated by industry but I couldn't really tell. So I finally sent a LinkedIn direct message to the CEO of 80Twenty, Annika Brytnse. I sat with anticipation, over-analyzing if I had overstepped, if she would even respond, etc. I've worked with some amazing recruiters before, but often it's difficult to get one to respond back due to the overwhelming response of candidates they usually get. To my surprise, she replied back quickly, providing me an email introduction to Larissa Gerlach, Head of Recruitment Services. My experience with Larissa was absolutely amazing. I was able to speak candidly with her, and she communicated with me at every step. She even took additional time out of her day, to let me practice a Go-To-Market presentation, I had created on my own, hoping it would help give me an edge. She provided feedback and encouragement, that gave me the confidence to present for the executive team. When I received the news I had gotten the job from the client, Larissa didn't just email me congratulations, she called me directly! She explained that our connection wouldn't just stop here. She would be there to assist, even after I started the role. I've never felt so supported by other recruiters before. She went above and beyond her job description. In closing, I would reccomend 80Twenty to both potential clients and applicants. Looking at posts on LinkedIn and my own experiences regarding experiences with recruiters aren't always as positive. Lack of follow-up and full knowledge of what the role entails is often frustrating on both the client and applicant side. Such positive experiences as I've had with 80Twenty should be applauded and shouted to the heavens! Thank you so much 80Twenty for helping me find my dream role, in the midst of a worldwide pandemic!

Top notch legitimate commercial, print, voice-over, hosting, and theatrical agency. They are the…read morereal deal. They expect professionalism, appropriate training, genuine talent, hard work, and commitments. The Hollywood industry takes hard work and time. My daughter was selected into an acting school and trained hard for 2 years. BBA signed her for commercial and modeling. She has booked several major commercial/print jobs including Wal-Mart, East West Bank, Merck (Pharmaceutical), and Forest Lawn Memorial Park (where Walt Disney and Michael Jackson rest eternally). Another girl from BBA booked Mercedes-Benz. My daughter also had auditioned for Disney, Nerf, any many other major brands/companies. BBA staff are cordial and professional once you make it through their doors. They have entertainment attorneys, and will guide you on casting, headshots, auditions, callbacks, Coogan (blocked trust) accounts, and SAG-AFTRA/union decisions. You know an agency is legitimate when they represent you legally and only take commission from your earnings. They do not charge up front for their services. We had auditions lined up for other reputable agencies in the LA area. We were not sure which agency to sign up for, but are happy with BBA. During auditions for major projects (Disney, Honda, etc.) we run into girls from the other agencies. So I think once you have a reputable agency, you are going to get sent to the big auditions if they trust you. They say it takes 30 auditions to book 1 role in the LA industry. We have found that it takes less than that, but you do have to go to a lot of auditions and call backs. Sometimes, our daughter sees a commercial she auditioned for on TV - only they decided to have adults instead of kids. Sometimes your kid might do very well during an audition, but the actors who book the parent role (for example) do not match your daughter's looks. There are many factors that play a role in whether or not you book a role. The agency is only one factor. Of course, you want a good agency because there is business and politics involved in dealing with casting directors. Your kid should also actively practice acting, modeling, dancing, or whatever skill they have. Acting is no different than any other talent. You have to really practice and have great teachers/mentors and gain experience slowly to be great at it. Being cute and able to dance well, or having a great personality, is only the start of a journey. If you make a little money and have fun, then it is all worth it. Commercial modeling and acting is an experience few will ever have. Even auditions are fun. Your child will learn to maintain poise when being interviewed (because that is essentially what an audition is). Not everyone will make a million dollars and be world famous; however, if you can make several thousand dollars and have an experience of a life time, then it is all worthwhile.

The ladies have been extremely flexible with timeframe requests and other questions I ask, even having to book out last minute for Jury Duty.
