I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Shawn and his company. The work they do is both…read morestructurally sound and beautiful. We had our downstairs rugs replaced with Pergo flooring. In the process, water damage was discovered (due to the way our house was built) and Shawn and his crew came up with the a permanent solution. They completed the work in a timely fashion and did a beautiful job. They went above and beyond what they needed to do to complete a minor project what a different contractor left undone. In the course of all of this, we had a tree come down on our property and they were able to take care of this for us as well. I wholeheartedly and without any reservations recommend this company.

Office personnel and foreman immediately recognized the work, and even produced digital photos of their work. I was completely satisfied with the remarkable original installation. Contacted Total Perfection of CNY for a roofing quote, Jason answered the phone and seemed…read moreknowledgeable and friendly. He was able to quote the roof replacement without even seeing the property in person. This should've been my first red flag. He proceeds to send some pricing over via text and a "contract" which was just a text message prompting me to reply with the words "accepted" and my name. Second red flag. Told him I was waiting to compare quotes, next day he sends another "contract" with a much more aggressive price, I decided to accept it and move forward. With the acceptance of the contract there was a $500 deposit required, only payable by Zelle, the third red flag. I went ahead and sent the $500 and all was good until the next day when he stated he made a mistake and needed another $1,000 Zelled to him for the deposit. Informed him a I don't feel comfortable with that and to just refund the $500. He said no worries, we'll stick with what you already paid as the deposit. Upon scheduling, a 50% deposit was required which was outlined in the contract. Total contract price was $10,500, contract stated deposit upon scheduling would be $5,250 minus the initial deposit of $500 bringing the remaining deposit to $4,750. Jason requested and insisted on needing $5,600 as "that's what the contract says", mind you this is only payable by Zelle which offers no protection. When challenged, he said "just send the $5,000, no problem". At this point I'm already feeling as this may not be legit and upon some googling, it appears others have had similar issues aswell. He now refuses to return the $500 citing a extremely vague 3 day

The woman on the other line quickly became irate because I asked if they would install an existing hand rail. It was just a simple question. I was hoping for some help because my business recently burned down, which I told her, but she proceeded to yell at me for not knowing what services they offer. I think they could have delivered the same message in a nicer way. I likely would have purchased their product if I had been treated with respect. Also, the first time I called they picked up the phone and hung up. It appears they are avoiding phone calls.

The delivery man got annoyed with us that we didn't have our vinyl fence taken apart so that they could even get it in our yard. I let him know we were never even notified they were coming. He left annoyed and took my step with him. They eventually came back a week or so later and were able to install it. After it was installed, it initially looked nice but started to chip apart on top almost immediately. We called Steps Plus multiple times. Someone came out and looked at the step and accused us of using salt or something on the step that would cause chipping. That was never the case as it was a back step that only our dogs used in the winter. We never salted it ever as we didn't want our dogs to ingest the salt. A week later we got a bill in the mail saying if we wanted it resurfaced it would be over $200. It was only a few months old! I called back and spoke to a woman named Judy I believe and explained the full situation. She was very apologetic and offered to replace the entire step for free as there was clearly an issue in the concrete and a "bandaid" repair wasn't going to be best in the long run. She said she would put in the order and contact us when it was ready. Well that was June 2019. It's now May 2020. We never heard from them again and we still have our faulty step. Completely ridiculous, don't spend a dime here.
