I also have an odd sized slider door that has not had a screen slider from the time I bought the home almost 6 years ago. Despite constant searching, I never found what would fit, even called a local company that did my garage screen units at my old home, and they failed to show for 2 years and many calls later. John took the measurements and provided a solid metal framed slider which now allows for more cross breeze on those windy days. Nice person, leaves no tell tail evidence of work behind. The problem I had at the time was that Comfort's price was just a little higher and the company I went with assured me they had the same quality workmanship and products. After the other company completed the work... (using the term completed loosely) I had nothing but problems. I called the other company and they told me to call the manufacturer. What a nightmare that turned into. This time the Comfort quote was still just under 4% higher than the next competitor but everything I have read told me to give Comfort a try. So I did! WOW ! is all I can say. I have never seen a construction crew as organized as your guys. The workers were friendly and polite. I didn't hear any swearing like I did with the other company. When the Comfort guys completed the job they walked me around the entire project showing me exactly what they did and why. I was amazed at the finish work, even the calk joints looked perfect unlike the other company who smeared calk everywhere. I am so thankful that I selected Comfort and cant wait to have you back in the spring for the next project we have in mind. Lastly, the guy Chris who came out to estimate this job, I guess he is a salesperson. He was just great... he was here for quite some time and answered every question we had. We were surprised and not happy with the Anderson etching advertisement on each pane in the bottom right corner. There is no disclosure of this etching in the contract that we signed and we feel that this should be disclosed to customers in that literature. We also had a garage door installed and we are happy with that door installation. We also want to mention that Chris did a great job giving us advice prior to installation.

When I contacted Anderson's service team,( they have made two trips to my home) they said this "Just happens sometimes". Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem. Interior condensation can lead to mold and damage to the wood trim, so being told it sometimes happens is not helpful. I live in a home that is 100 years old and do not have moisture on the inside of the original windows. At this point I am not satisfied with the product performance or the response from the technicians. I would like a permanent fix or replacement on these windows.
