Food- I forgot the sushi rolls we got but they were on the specials. One was Scallop which was delicious topped with caviar, the other with crab meat and fried something inside, finally was tuna and avocado. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Kudos to the sushi chef. 1 star is honestly even to much. Me and 4 other friends came inside the restaurant to eat yesterday ( June 4th ). We sat down at 5:50, ordered 10 minutes after we sat down got our drinks 10 minutes after we ordered. My friend got his food at 6:20 the Rest of us the other 3 people had to sit there and watch him eat from 6:20-7:00 when we finally got our food. They ordered sushi and I ordered GRILLED salmon. The grilled salmon came out raw and chunky, picked it up it was ice cold with water falling of it, no taste very bland and looked spoiled. The crab meat in the sushi looked artificial and was spoiled. All of us that eat that day got sick. The manager sat there for 20-30minutes arguing with us over our food because WE didn't like it and didn't want to pay for something we did NOT eat. Terrible service, terrible restaurant should not be in business. Racially profiled my friend because he is veitnamese saying " you know how food is suppose to be, your Asian yourself ". I think this place is a sleeper here not many people were in there when we arrived. The food was really really good. I forget the name of the sample or the appetizer but that was spectacular. I had my first order of edamame, crab rangoons, and steak fried rice. The chef was a pleasure to talk to as well as the owner! The crab Rangoon was a bit sweet from what I'm used to, but still amazing 4/5. The edamame was a 5/5 if you're used to traditional green beans. Everything else is amazing. My family and I love to eat here! They are always so friendly. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. My girls love the fried rice and the chicken katsu. My husband and I like the lunch sushi roll special and the vegetable tempura bento box. Sometimes we come here twice a week because it is so good! I thought this place was pretty good especially for the area, despite the reviews. I ordered the Tri-cities and it was delicious. As far as the roaches and whatever else other folks saw, I didn't see. So I can't speak on that. The staff was friendly and the manager was nice. What a value! My friend and I were in town for a music festival when our sushi urge sidetracked us so we ended up at Osaka. I really didn't know what to expect as sushi can be a finicky thing to try out in an unknown environment. We were both pleasantly surprised when we saw the long list of lunch special options that included 2 rolls of sushi plus soup and salad for $7.99 or for an additional $3, you could upgrade to a third roll. Guess which option these two hungry out-of-towners opted for? I chose the Sweet Potato Roll, Vegetable Roll, and Crunchy Cucumber Roll and were happy with all three selections. The Miso Soup was also very satisfying. The salad was doused with a bit too much of the ginger dressing but considering the price, not really a major gripe. Service was speedy and the decor of Asian kitsch was expected. All around a solid sushi choice if you are in the Bristol area... Pros: The facility seems very clean, the staff made every effort to work with my food sensitivities, and the food came out relatively fast for as busy as they were. Cons: Their dinner menu is super over-priced, and the food was fine. Just fine, not the best or worst I've had. Oh, and the shrimp weren't deveined. They were peeled, but not deveined. That's nasty. I might try again at lunch, considering the price would be lower and I seriously need to find a place to satisfy my hibachi cravings, but Osaka didn't really blow my skirt up. read more

Soooo....location was convenient...service was sloooow.server was very nice. It's not like they were slam packed or Anything. Guys...i love going to sushi places. I get the same thing or some variation of the same things at each place. The kani salad here....less than desirable, it was bland and tasted like mayo covered cucumbers with a sprinkle of crabmeat. Now we did have one of the special rolls called crispy spicy tuna. Delightful, flavorful spicy tuna rolled deep fried then with a spicy sauce on top. Very tasty! Kudos for this one... Now....guys...a standard that we often order when out is the shrimp tempura roll. This was not a winner. I don't know if the shrimp was off or the scallions or what but it was not good. As my taste for sushi expands, I no longer favor the Manhattan roll. Don't get me wrong, it's amazing. It would be good for people just trying sushi. You can't go wrong with most anything here. It's 100% the best spot for sushi anywhere around here. The Tri-Cities Combination, Ocean Roll, and Green River Roll are amazing. I will update again after trying the Valentine Roll. Definitely skip going to 620 State or any other place that offers sushi if you are in town or close by. This is the best of the best. Fresh fish, wide array of choices, and friendly service. Pretty much the only reliable place for sushi in a 100 mile radius......or something like that. The fish is always fresh; I've never had anything fishy here......in fact I'd like you to find better sashimi short of Morimoto's in Philly or flying to Japan. You really can't beat the price for what you get. Really cheap for great sushi and sashimi. Lunch specials are 2 rolls for 7.50 or 3 rolls for 10.95; that special comes with soup and salad. Sashimi Lunch is 13.95. Try: Softshell crab appetizer (yes one whole softshell crab!) for $5. All raw fish are fresh, just order what you like.
