Osaka Express - Poke Near Me - Lutz, Florida

Why 4 stars? This is my first Poke Stop experience and it was pretty enjoyable. I got the Poke bowl with 2 meats. Tried the chicken and shrimp. Overall the flavor was good and the ingredients are fresh. The price point also was right where it should be. I was not ready for the items to be cold and the rice warm. That's was my only knock. I can get used to it but would prefer a warm meal. Will def be back. read more

I've been going to this place for years and the staff are always so nice and friendly but everyone's favorite part is of course the food! Not only is the place very clean but you can tell the staff tries to keep a nice open vibe to it. The food always comes out fresh and very delicious. I'm glad we have this place in our community. read more

Consistent service. Good food. I usually get the hibachi meals but their poke bowls are good too

Always the best!!! So tasty, and great size portions! The hibachi steak is my fav to get, and then the krab rangoons omggg! Amazinggg!! Hands down the best I've had in some years! Oooh and the staff are so sweet!! Genuinely kind. :)) read more

Very nice people. Excellent service. Good food. Highly recommend this restaurant. Poke bowls and hibachi meals are all excellent.

Food was fresh and very good. The staff was also very friendly. Well priced, will certainly be coming back.

Tried for the first time tonight and very impressed. Got it to go and it's packaged very neatly and each item has its own container. We ordered the steak hibachi with noodles. The steak and vegetables were perfect! The vegetables were crisp and crunchy and the steak was perfect with great seasoning. Definitely will be going back. read more

It was alright, nothing to brag about, I think the fish bowl is better and cheaper, I got the house bowl, was almost 15 bucks, don't think I'll be back as like I've already said, can find better value elsewhere read more

Wow what a great little hidden gem in Land O Lakes! The staff there was very helpful, patient, and kind when taking our order. Their menu had a good selection of food! Not only do they have great poke bowls but they make fresh, hot, and well cooked hibachi! I got the steak hibachi with noodles which was amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection and so tender! While there I also had a Thai Iced Tea which I have been searching for! The place was clean, organized, and smelled good! I would highly recommend coming here if you are in the mood for a poke bowl or hibachi! read more

We really loved the Poké Bowl. Perfect size and delicious! You can choose as many toppings as you want (which for me is a huge plus compared to other Poké places in the United States). read more

We absolutely love this place! Just the right amount of food and has never disappointed. We just moved right around the corner so we will definitely be here often! read more

I've given this place 3 tries and it always makes our family sick. I'm not sure what's going on there but the food is just bad.

So, we love Osaka in Carrollwood and apparently these two restaurants are owned by the same people. We ordered to-go Hibachi last week and I was extremely happy with the price of two hibachi meals- one chicken with noodles and one steak with rice, the time it took to prepare them (20 min) and how good it was (yummy sauce included!.) So happy this place is a 5-10 min drive from us. We'll definitely be ordering from here again in the future. read more

Very clean and decent neighborhood hibachi place. This is our first time here and we'll definitely be coming back.

Best poke place around! Their hibachi is really good as well. The service is always top notch.

Had steak and shrimp hibachi and it was amazing! Great flavor, good portions and customer service was very welcoming. I found one of my favorite neighborhood spots! I'll be back for sure!! read more

I would like to be fair. I had posted before that the young blonde lady at the front did not smile or and acted as if it was bothering her to serve people. Went back and she was polite, smiled and was courteous. Thank you I am a big fan of Poke bowl our family visits at least 2 a week. read more

Valentine's Day dinner WIN!! My husband just brought home some takeout. We've never been but I wanted to try something new so I told him to stop in and order some food. We both were so surprised how delicious this was and affordable. I wish I could have taken a photo it was that good I couldn't put my fork down lol We will definitely be ordering again soon. read more

Very delicious. Great food and clean atmosphere. The food is a little salty but that's to be expected. Worth a try

My family and I tried the Poke Bowl for the first time today! It was so good. I customized my own bowl and got chicken and the house poke sauce. Soooo good! Very very impressed. Very reasonably priced as well. My mom has the tuna and chicken and my brother had the chicken and shrimp. They were very happy with they're creations as well. Very pleased. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

Amazing service, got all the help I needed to make decisions on what I would eat, employees were super polite and helpful, and food was 10/10. Can't wait to go back! read more

I don't like the fact that they changed the menu and no longer offer their yummy macaroni salad

If you love Poke, you need to come eat at Osaka Express! One of my very favorite foods to enjoy in Hawaii is Poke, and Osaka is a hidden gem! I had a Poke Salad bowl with Spicy Salmon & Tuna, avocado, cilantro, masago, green onion, seaweed salad, cucumber & Poke sauce with spicy mayo - it was so fresh and delicious, I cannot wait to come back! read more

Food is amazing, I always get spicy salmon poke bowl I've never had a complaint! Owner very nice and always makes sure you are happy with everything! read more

I'm here on business and drove by this poke place every day on my way back to my hotel and let me tell you it doesn't disappoint. The sushi is fresh and the owner was very helpful and so sweet. I'm sad I didn't stop earlier in the week. I wish there was one like this in Jacksonville. I'll be back next month for another week and will DEFINITELY be back !! read more

Tried here tonight for the first time and ordered hibachi take out. I liked that you could add a second protein on for $3 and the portions were decent for the price. The staff were all very friendly and the clear onion soup was good, but there was only two very small mushroom slivers in with the soup. I did feel like the food didn't have much flavor compared to hibachi from other places, but it's nearby and I would definitely dine there again. read more

Just moved to the area and looking for good tuna bowl! This place was great! Very impressed I got the tuna and spicy tuna and got every topping on the menu some of which I hadn't tried before. This place serves great food and service. Julie is a joy to know and talk with. My family and I frequent this place several times a month. They have a wide variety of protein including tofu for us vegetarians/vegans. The poke bowls are generous and so is the hibachi. I have had their tofu hibachi several times and it beats out Kobe's! In addition to the already fantastic poke bowls and hibachi, they now have several appetizers and two Asian salads. And they just got in Thai tea with boba!! You can't go wrong with this place. Another place opened down the road of which I tried, but I am sticking with Osaka Express as their sushi rice has a much better flavor and isn't balled up and overly sticky. Osaka's sauces have a better taste as well. Most of all, they give you a warm welcome upon entering their establishment. read more

Our family loves Osaka! They are so welcoming and attentive. The restaurant is always spotless. The food is fresh and delicious. My husband and daughter love the hibachi. I love the poke bowls and their seaweed salad is amazing! I could not recommend them more! read more

My favorite place for Pokie Bowl.. great staff and quick. Also the fish is always fresh.

Highest quality sushi bowl in the area. Have gone back and forth from fish bowl to here and you can not touch the quality and taste here. Fish bowl has upset my stomach after every meal and the fish had a odor to it, every time. Never here. It is more slightly more expensive and you don't get as much food as fish bowl but the taste is exceptional, the fish doesn't smell and my stomach doesn't get upset. read more

I lived in Hawaii for a few years and this is best Poke I have had in FL! Great service!

Awful experience. I picked my son from school and had to take him to his soccer game. Since it was going to get late decided to grab something for him to eat and he wanted noodles. Noticed this place and decided to ordered vegetable hibachi noodles for a take out. En route to the fields, when he opens the box he is disappointed to find rice instead of noodles. I immediately called the store to bring it to their attention and was told they would make it right for us. I asked my wife to go and pick the right order so that when we get home our son gets to eat the dish he so desired. To our horror, when my wife went to the store she was told they would just give the plain noodles. If vegetables were needed then my wife was asked to pay again for the cost of the dish. I expected them to do the right thing for the dish which they BOTCHED up, but it seems to be a very tall order. I was left with a bitter experience and a disappointed kid. This will be the first and the last time I would be at this store. read more
