Fresh bread sign is lit up, but they are closed

Another miss Sign is lit up at the front door fresh bread . NOT Door is locked No sign on the window about their hours I will never count on this Bakery again

The New Yorker. Bagels and lox on and everything bagel.

Orwashers is a bakery in Roslyn, that originated in New York City. I used to visit their location in Manhattan often when I lived on the upper east side. Now that I live in Syosset, I will sometimes frequent their Roslyn location. I stopped in yesterday for the New Yorker, which is a bagel and lox sandwich. It was so good. I had to order another one highly recommend.

Such a cute little coffee/lunch spot! There's a parking lot, friendly staff and lots to choose from inside. They have a selection of breads, pasties and sandwiches. I just had an iced coffee which was delicious! I will be back for lunch soon.

Really enjoying this spot! Got the New York bagel, the West Coast bagel, Green Eggs sandwich, their chocolate babka, honey and apple muffin, brownies, rugelach, and rainbow cookies and all of it was delicious. Especially loved the rainbow cookies and honey and apple muffin. Want to come back on a warm day for their iced coffee slushie which looks incredible! And their fresh, homemade whole wheat bread. 5 stars!!!

    $20 ????? 100% markup

The rent is too damn high ! And the customers are paying for it,I got a half sandwich, ham and cheese for $10, Mike's hot honey $20 ,sourdough bread $6.50, literally twice the price of anywhere else, that's 100% markup, you guys have no mercy on your customers and apparently you don't care Seriously how do you justify these prices, because of your overhead? I could go to Northshore Farms and get a beautiful loaf of sourdough for $3.50, I could pick up Mike's hot honey for $10, I can get a giant hero sandwich on Fresh bread, ham and cheese with mustard for $10 that would feed three people . It's absolutely disgusting that you guys are getting away with charging double for what things are worth, as I am a regular in the shopping center and CVS I do stop in a lot but after yesterday's experience of highway robbery, I have to say not only I will never come back , I will make sure I will tell everyone I know not to visit your bakery, the people giving five star reviews apparently don't give a F about how much money they spent, you have to have mercy on the people who are putting money in your pocket, I don't think you're going to last through 2024

    Pistachio Crunch Croissant

Stopped in here for the first time to try the pistachio crunch croissant which is going viral. I am all about the Dubai chocolate craze, so I had to try this! The croissant itself did fall apart a bit, but this was delicious and unique tasting. The crunch was definitely there which is the best part in my opinion. I felt there was the perfect amount of chocolate too, not too much and not too little. I paid $13 for two croissants which is a little pricey, but worth it for a treat. This place is conveniently located in a shopping center and they seem to have a large menu with other goodies so I would love to come back soon!

    NY Bagel

A new bakery opened up in the neighborhood. Ambience: very spacious, almost too spacious. Open kitche. Open kitchen design allows you to see your food being prepped. Super friendly staff. Food: Standard pastries are represented: bagels, croissants, donuts, etc. I ordered a NY Bagel: a modest amount of cream cheese, lox, chives, dill, etc. it was good, but a little on the pricey side at $12.

    Boston Cream, filled upon order.

I saw Smusht often on DoorDash but stopped in for the first time yesterday for dessert. The shop is…read moresurprisingly roomy, with large tables in the front but also some smaller tables across from the ice cream case. I know they are well known for the ice cream sandwiches, but I just hate having to hold onto that sandwich and struggling to not get my hands all dirty, so I opted for a small size which comes with two scoops. The staff at the counter were so nice allowing the kids in my party try different flavors and giving suggestions. I love a fun and unique ice cream flavor, so I went with Honey Lavender and Lemon Poppy Seed. Both were so incredible! The lavender was not too floral-y and the honey flavor came through very clearly. The lemon was bright but creamy, not sour. The poppy seed added a nice crunchy texture. The ice cream was so smooth and airy, I was surprised I was able to finish both scoops! I'm really pleased to have found a great artisanal ice cream shop on Long Island. I will definitely be by again!

The vegan Ice cream sandwich is something So unique and amazing.... one of the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend coming here and going straight for the make your own Cookie sandwich. I cannot recommend this place enough. Service was amazing. They really worked the line on national ice cream day. Cute indoor an outdoor seating.
