Nurses and support were friendly and professional. Personal care. Was obvious. Kept informed of each step and times. Next day follow up phone call was appreciated.

Late post -- Reno Orthopedic Surgery Center…read more Let's be honest--no one wants to spend time at a surgical center. But when you're greeted by familiar, friendly faces each visit, it truly makes the experience feel far less intimidating. I've been here a few times now, and it really hit me how many incredible nurses I've encountered but never properly acknowledged. In the moment, you're focused on the procedure--but it's the people who leave the lasting impression. A heartfelt thank you to Kenya and Jenn for taking such great care of me during both pre-op and recovery. Their calm, attentive approach immediately put me at ease. And to the entire OR team--about 5-6 nurses whose names I didn't have the chance to catch--your professionalism and seamless teamwork did not go unnoticed. Of course, I'm also incredibly grateful to my orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Lundeen, along with Alex Ernst, MD, and Lindsey Whitlock, CFA. Having a team you trust makes all the difference, and I truly felt I was in the best hands. And a very special shoutout to Jen B--my "IV queen." At this point, she recognizes me not just by name, but by face--and that level of familiarity brings instant comfort. She is truly one and done every single time, and I can't thank her enough. To Jen B and all of the amazing nurses here--your compassion, patience, and dedication don't just make a difference... they define the entire experience. Highly recommend this team if you're ever in need of their services. Grateful beyond words.

Joseph E. Chambers is awesome!…read more He did my inserts and man it was day and night. I had to get use to the inserts but one I did it helped me so much. So, the process was pretty simple. I think the total from start to finish was a month. First make an appointment with his office. They have good staff. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. They got me right in. Within a week I think. I actually had to schedule it out further because I wasn't ready for it haha. This first exam was to see if there was anything wrong with you feet. They filmed the way I walk to see if there was anything wrong and there was. Joseph suggested inserts to correct the issue. So, next was a scheduling for a casting. This was another 2 weeks out. The reason they couldn't do it that day was because he was super booked. Also, it takes awhile to do the casting. Like 1-2 hours I think. But it was like going to a sculpting class or almost like paper mache. After that they let the model dry and send it out to a company that does the incerts. That takes another 2 weeks or so. Then when they come in Joseph will schedule you to come in for a fitting. He will tell you to wear it, make sure it fits and if it doesn't they can make adjustments. But it fit perfectly for me. My experience here was life altering. Literally, I was in pain before and after it was way better. Thanks to Joseph and his staff. You guys are amazing.

While I was acknowledged and recognized, I was focused on taking notes for my friend. Dr. Kafchinski saw I was note taking and asked if she needed to slow down or repeat herself. She explained things very clearly and made a situation that could have been scary sound manageable and treatable. I also appreciate that she didn't make any false promises because we still needed to get answers from other tests. She was timely in seeing us and stayed focused on the conversation of diagnosis and tests to be done.

As we walk in first point of contact was front desk girl who looked so upset that we were walking in. I get it, sucks to work on a Saturday but if you are the first thing a patient sees as they are hurting maybe you should be a little more welcoming or compassionate. We got help by person sitting next to her who right away greeted us with a smile. My sister felt worst in Monday 5/12 so I took her back as she had said she felt like something had snapped in her knee and this time she was not able to put any weight on it. As soon as Sierra saw us she said and I quote" You were here Saturday, we aren't going to be able to do anything for your today" I work in healthcare and I would never just off the bat refuse service to anyone. Front desk staff should not be giving out medical advice! This girl didn't even let us get a word in before she even shut us down. And once again she had that annoyed/ mad expression. My sister asked for a doctor's note and she said " I can't provide that for you, the Dr. Has to do it" Sierra if you would of let us just speak you would understand we were not asking YOU for the note as you are not the provider that saw her or treated her! But since she obviously looks like she hates her job she ushered us out fast. We were able to get seen in the ER as my sister did dislocate her knee and from Saturday to Monday the situation changed! Thankfully SWIFT got us in right away as well! Please ROC do better with your front desk staff. We are coming to you scared, hurt and just needing help or resources as to what to do next. But instead we got treated poorly by front desk staff. Horrible experience!
