My left knee has pain, so bilateral X-rays
    Debra S.

I haven't been to ROC for a few years. When I was working with elderly, I had to take my patients for their appointments. So, imagine my surprise when I walked in for my appointments, not knowing they did so much construction! First off, pay attention to signs about parking lots! If the parking lot is full, there are other lots to go too. There are signs telling you where to find them. When you call to make an appointment, ask if you need a referral to be seen. Some insurance companies don't need a referral from primary care, that helped me a lot. There is an X-ray area and they have a shop for orthopedic needs! There are 4 floors and each department, including surgery, as its own area. There is even a coffee shop on the 2nd floor, which I will review :) As for staff, nobody was rude, just seemed overwhelmed with business. Everybody was helpful and doctors explained my conditions. I didn't get pictures of building, but I got pictures of X-rays , haha

6/10/25- Follow up for the DH after he got his cortisone injection a month ago. Pain is slightly returning so we shall see what the plan is moving forward. Parking in the lot is crazy- ended up on the street.

Reno Orthopedic Center is a beautiful place that houses so many medical specialities. I came to see Dr. Chad Watts, MD and Orthopedic Surgeon for Joint & Spine. I was very impressed with my office visit from the first moment Cynthia, Dr. Watts PA came to get me, check me in and do all of my vitals. She was professional and kind. I thought my meeting with Dr.Watts was amazing. I felt he was grounded and intelligent and we talked about my knee. I am so happy I was referred to Dr. Chat Watts. This was a really personal and great Medical Experience with ROC. Also I enjoyed waiting at the cafe for my appointment having a chicken Alfredo bowl at The Roost Cafe. It was excellent. I will try a lavender latte next time. This is also a really beautiful architectural building!Julie A

We are so lucky to have ROC in Reno. I visited two years ago to have my knees looked at by Dr. Webster. I was so fortunate that he was able to remedy both of them without surgery. I have now returned to ROC for a shoulder issue and I am so fortunate the doctor Webster specializes in shoulders and knees. My appointment was this morning at 8:30 AM. The scheduling staff called me the day before and asked me to come in a little bit early to take some x-rays prior to my appointment. It was no issue and I was happy to get them done in advance for the doctor. They don't screw around here. They take care of their patients and they truly are aware of your personal time. I got in 30 minutes early took the x-ray went upstairs and immediately Dr. Webster's amazing assistant Regina took me back to his office. I was in and out in less than an hour with x-rays. The quality of care provided by Dr. Webster and Regina exceeds beyond expectations and I will continue to send all my family and friends here. I am so so thankful that using incredible medical professionals truly care about their patients and you can absolutely tell that they love what they do.

While I was acknowledged and recognized, I was focused on taking notes for my friend. Dr. Kafchinski saw I was note taking and asked if she needed to slow down or repeat herself. She explained things very clearly and made a situation that could have been scary sound manageable and treatable. I also appreciate that she didn't make any false promises because we still needed to get answers from other tests. She was timely in seeing us and stayed focused on the conversation of diagnosis and tests to be done.

As we walk in first point of contact was front desk girl who looked so upset that we were walking in. I get it, sucks to work on a Saturday but if you are the first thing a patient sees as they are hurting maybe you should be a little more welcoming or compassionate. We got help by person sitting next to her who right away greeted us with a smile. My sister felt worst in Monday 5/12 so I took her back as she had said she felt like something had snapped in her knee and this time she was not able to put any weight on it. As soon as Sierra saw us she said and I quote" You were here Saturday, we aren't going to be able to do anything for your today" I work in healthcare and I would never just off the bat refuse service to anyone. Front desk staff should not be giving out medical advice! This girl didn't even let us get a word in before she even shut us down. And once again she had that annoyed/ mad expression. My sister asked for a doctor's note and she said " I can't provide that for you, the Dr. Has to do it" Sierra if you would of let us just speak you would understand we were not asking YOU for the note as you are not the provider that saw her or treated her! But since she obviously looks like she hates her job she ushered us out fast. We were able to get seen in the ER as my sister did dislocate her knee and from Saturday to Monday the situation changed! Thankfully SWIFT got us in right away as well! Please ROC do better with your front desk staff. We are coming to you scared, hurt and just needing help or resources as to what to do next. But instead we got treated poorly by front desk staff. Horrible experience!

Overall several treatments, I received STEM cell and PRP's/HA ( Hyluronic Acid) injections and am up and running again! I highly recommend him for any of your regenerative medicine STEM Cell or PRP injection needs to avoid having invasive surgery. He is a doctor you can trust with over 45 years as an orthopedic surgeon replacing thousands of joints ( hips and knees) in his old life. He has continued to innovate his renegerative medicine methods over the years and helped me stay active . So, wouldn't you rather have an stem cell treatment or PRP injection rather than a joint replacement? I commute from Sacramento to Reno for his treatments and his prices are the lowest I have seen after talking to over 20 doctors. He also does provide phone consultations for free and will be honest about whether or not he thinks he can reallly help you! If he can't, he will recommend a good surgeon that can help should you need a joint replacement. Thank you Dr McClish for keeping me active!
