This was my 2nd home birth and I knew I wanted to try a new midwife with my 2nd pregnancy. Tiffany is attentive, real, extremely supportive and knowledgeable. Home birth is about choice, power, safety, spiritual, honoring the birther and child. Tiffany touched on all these and so much more. She delivered the facts, research and left the choices to the parents. From a young adult, I knew I wanted a home birth. After watching the "The Business of Being Born" it solidified my desire. Tiffany completely changed my birth experience - on baby #5. I had four hospital births before…read morethis, three with epidurals and Certified Nurse Midwives and 1 unplanned natural with an OB. The last experience pushed me to try something new this time. And I'm so incredibly grateful. Tiffany gave me all the information to questions I asked in a very non-biased way. She gives you lots of time at appointments and is so easy to talk to. She lent me books to read and helped me feel empowered that I could have exactly the birth I wanted. When I had prodromal labor after my due date she came to my home for a non stress test and predicted that the cord was around the neck and suggested getting monitored at the hospital just to be sure everything was ok and that baby could withstand birth at home. She didn't take any unnecessary risks. The birth was at home, calm and perfect - even better than I had hoped (and Tiffany was right - the cord was loosely around the neck). She connected me with Meredith at Nourish Nevada - the most amazing lactation group that has blessed my life after 4 failed breastfeeding experiences with my others. She recommended an amazing pelvic floor therapist that helped my birth be amazing and my recovery even better. I'm actually mourning that this is my last baby because I'm finally surrounded by this incredible team of women who know how to help you have the best experience with birth, have a strong body, feed your baby like a pro and feel so proud of yourself and what your body can do. I can't express how much I wish I had found Tiffany and my team sooner. But better late than never I suppose.

Beg of may, office uses natera for blood test results. no inform prior owed $700. felt taken care of for additional procedures. Allie and Ray accommodated with meds & shipment needs During ultrasound for follicle growth, Joanna was rude. She asked if we had ?; answers short, sharp. The ultrasound & blood takes about 15 minutes. No notices of time frames for shots. window about a hour within the 12 hours. stressed if we were 15 minutes late, did shots in the car. shots can be mixed in advance, up to 30 days IVF cycle: When time for the trigger shot, allie and ray explained the process but it needed clarity. last ultrasound on Friday, blood draw sat and egg retrieval sun. This last minute schedule is difficult with coming from out of state. big frustration is all medications not used are wasted. The office had us Order a certain amount (one size fits all amount), which was too much, so we have an extra $1500 worth of medications. mock cycle + to length of process. expect about a month for each mock cycle and transfer, assuming all things go smooth. Dec: confusion over some + meds & appts. new med added on day of transfer, so hard to track down meds be4 a holiday. Wish informed prior ordered an + blood test due to my own case, (more $ ) Dec, embryo didn't stick.earliest meeting 2 mo. out unless a cancellation which happened. Dr W offered possibilities of why transfer failed . Mad alternatives discussed now rather than prior. during the IVF process you can consent to donate your embryos. we thought it would help another couple who didn't retrieve many eggs. Come to find out after the failed transfer, we can buy a donated embryo for an extra $8500. Post transfer, Alicia was helpful a few weeks later in regard to various symptoms. I have been a patient of Dr. Garol's for coming up 4 years. I can't vouch for his obstetrician…read moreskills, just his gynecology skills, but I wish I had found him sooner. I met him while inpatient during an emergency and while I was absolutely miserable, I loved his bedside manner, personality and education and fully trusted him and his decisions without hesitation. I say I wish I met him sooner because he seemed to have a lot more willingness to research my medical history that could have saved me having the emergency requiring his care. As another said, you feel like he is actually listening and invested in you as a patient, a very very desirable quality for a doctor to have. He literally saved my life. After that inpatient experience, he let me stay with him for future reproductive healthcare, and I was able to leave my previous doctor who I had never been satisfied with. Every year I have my annual check up due to being high risk for cancer, and every interaction is like seeing an old friend, he is always friendly, genuine and often funny too. I still trust him, and am completely comfortable with him given the type of exam. His office is slow (like it can take an hour to be seen after your appointment time) and large, and can feel like a bit like a cog in a machine here, but its worth it to see him as my doctor. I have also seen on Facebook that when women ask for recommendations he is highly regarded there as well. I am not sure if he is taking new patients or not, but if so and you're in need of a doctor you like for a very vulnerable part of your healthcare, I highly suggest Dr. Garol.

This was our second child (our first we didn't use a doula, but wish I had now!) and, as much as I love him, my husband just wasn't enough alone for me the first go around. I knew I needed some added support. That's where Jamie and Stevie came in and filled that much needed gap. My birth experience was extremely positive, full of love and support, smooth and without any regrets or feelings of inadequacy. I know I couldn't have done it without their preparation and commitment. Gosh, the number of times I pinged them in the middle of the night, even well before my delivery... I was always so apologetic about that, but they assured me it was no big deal and that they were there for me any time I needed them. Please, hire them. You won't regret it, I promise!

In addition to Doula services, we decided to take the Evidence Based Birthing 6 week course taught by Stevie, the CPR class and the breastfeeding class taught by Jamie. The EBB course was extremely informative and helped us prepare for the type of delivery we wanted. I felt confident in my decisions around the type of birth I wanted but also prepared for any unplanned changes that may occur. The CPR class was something my husband and I planned to take through the hospital but enjoyed having Stevie come over to our house and receive 1:1 instruction. The breastfeeding class was extremely informative and useful for not only myself but my husband as well. Due to covid restrictions only one doula was allowed in our hospital room so Stevie joined us since Jamie had just given birth to her 4th baby a week prior. Stevie knew our nurses, anesthesiologist, and OB which was comforting. My birth plan changed from what I originally intended and Stevie made sure I was comfortable with the change and helped me feel confident with my decision. My baby's heart rate dropped extremely low a couple times during labor and she helped us stay strong and reassure us that we were in good hands. I couldn't have asked for a better team for our delivery and I think that Stevie is largely to thank for that. 3 days after my baby was born, I became concerned because he hadn't had a wet or poopy diaper in 2 days. I got an appointment with our pediatrician a day earlier than originally scheduled but still had a day to care for my child. I reached out to Jamie and Stevie for advice and Jamie got me connected to a Lactation Consultant and helped me make the decision on a feeding plan until our appointments. She even brought over a bag of breastmilk since my milk hadn't come in yet . I found out that my baby wasn't able to get enough milk from my breast due to some latching issues and worked with the lactation consultant Jamie recommended for the first 2 months of his life. I am now almost 6 months postpartum and now have a great breastfeeding relationship with my child - something I again largely attribute to Jamie. As first time parents, getting a doula was the best decision we made and we couldn't be happier with the services provided by Jamie and Stevie!

Dr farringers Office is professional, great at communication and all around have been so pleasant to have in our corner during a pregnancy Dr farringer came highly recommended by other moms in the area and a local Doula, his knowledge and experience certainly is impressive. Interactions with him could not be more pleasant. He is so patient and empathetic and his ease in responding to any and all questions with backed data is something that gives this worryer mom a lot of ease.
