I am sorry to say that I never had the chance to see Dr.Melhuish…read more I called to make a appointment but there is no answering service. How ever there is a texting service that answers for your voive message. I found this very unprofessional and cumbersome to exchange detailed information. Very time consuming. Apparently there is staff for texting but not for actual voice communication. Another thing disturbing was a required a $250.00 up front retainer fee before setting a appointment or knowledge of insurance carrier. This seemed pretty damn arrogant. No building of trust between patient and doctor just interested in the money more so than the care. In my world I pick my groceries and goods before I pay for them. I also pay high insurance premiums for good health care coverage so I don't have to pay directly to Physicians. Not this mans way of working with a Doctor I can trust. Mark V. Since we live half of the time in Reno, NV, and the three-month exchange period was approaching, we decided to call the Reno store. We spoke to Stefan, and I explained that we purchased the arch support in California and that my husband's pain had gotten worse. Stefan spoke to my husband, who confirmed that the pain was indeed worsening. Stefan informed my husband that they were the same corporation but owned by different individuals. We asked Stefan if we could come in to see if he could help us with this problem. Stefan agreed and said he would be there. When we arrived, I must say that Stefan was excellent. He explained every detail to us and exchanged the arch support for a different pair. I've always purchased a pair of arch support in 2012, and I showed them to Stefan. This was one of the best office visits and adjustments I have ever had. The receptionist was very helpful and courteous and worked me into the schedule on the Friday of a Holiday weekend when she had a cancelation! Thank you! My experience only got better from there when Dr. Dimitry came in to see me. He was very through, listened to my symptoms, asked me questions for clarification, and explained every adjustment he made and why. He is very approachable and didn't try to sell me a "family plan" or some other foolishness. I really felt like he cared about making me better and I appreciate that. I was in a lot of pain when I came in and felt 100% better when I left. I scheduled another visit for next week and am looking forward to feeling better with each adjustment. Dr. Dimitry is definitely a super Chiropractor!
