I showed up and they still had the time wrong. Dr. Child offered no help. It felt his ego came in to play and said well you went for surgery somewhere else so follow up there vs how can we help. I won't ever go back. It's really unfortunate that our small town has such a bad rep. Dr. Childs negligence is dangerous but gee, thanks for the referral.

He kept concentrating on one…read morearea because you are forced to pick one spot thats the worst and thats what they concentrate on. I am chronically ill and have several diagnoses that cause me severe pain everywhere but he only wanted to concentrate on my back. I've quickly learned that Nevada has the worst Healthcare system. Then when I told him everything hes suggested I have tried and it is documented in my chart and it didn't work or made things worse. He also wanted to give me medications that I can not take because I have children to take care of and I don't have the option to lay in bed all day. So a summary of this place.....they do not listen, you will have no say so in your care plan, and ultimately they just want to put devices in you or injections so they get that money. What a horrible clinic, I will NOT be back. I just wanted my quailty of life back. Also I am a woman and we all know they don't treat us the best in the healthcare system.

I really did not want to have to put a review like this up on Dr. Vlasek. He seems like a good guy…read morebut I think he has been a bit corrupted by the corporate healthcare model. My experience with him started when my favorite doctor left town and I had to find another doctor. He was the only one available within Carson Tahoe, and with some hindsight I should've just switched to a different practice entirely. I knew Carson Tahoe was bad and only cares about money, but watching this doctor and his staff develop into that model has been pretty bad. The referrals and follow ups are a rough start to boot. He has referred me to so many places that have never called, never gotten a referral, and don't even know who I am when I call. I have a problem that requires a dermatologist and he referred me to a practice I had never been to before even though I have a dermatologist. Let me guess, if I want the referral corrected I have to make an appointment? Which leads me to: My biggest issue with his practice is that no matter the issue, no matter how trivial, he will not solve any issue without an appointment. It doesn't matter if you were in that day, or the day before, or a week ago. It's not like I miss my yearly appointments, I see the doctor several times a year because of my conditions. One would think if I had a reasonable request like, "can we increase my anti-depressant strength", that we could solve that issue without the need for an appointment a couple weeks after the follow up appointment to another appointment one month ago. Every single issue I have, his MA Aiden and himself have always responded with, "Make an appointment". It's getting old and he clearly does not value our time and only cares about the visit billing. *Update: His office must have taken offence to my review, they sent me a certified letter that I cannot go to eagle medical center because of "non-compliance". Wonderful way to fix the issue Carson Tahoe.

This was one of the best office visits and adjustments I have ever had. The receptionist was very helpful and courteous and worked me into the schedule on the Friday of a Holiday weekend when she had a cancelation! Thank you! My experience only got better from there when Dr. Dimitry came in to see me. He was very through, listened to my symptoms, asked me questions for clarification, and explained every adjustment he made and why. He is very approachable and didn't try to sell me a "family plan" or some other foolishness. I really felt like he cared about making me better and I appreciate that. I was in a lot of pain when I came in and felt 100% better when I left. I scheduled another visit for next week and am looking forward to feeling better with each adjustment. Dr. Dimitry is definitely a super Chiropractor!
