I've been coming here for years primarily for massage therapy. David is an amazing RMT. He has experience with acupuncture too, which means he's familiar with pressure points and always gets the right spots. I had issues related to plantar fasciitis and was treated by Mehran and his staff. To be honest, I didn't think that physio would help, which was why I didn't book an appointment earlier. But after the first appointment with shockwave therapy, I felt a lot better. After a few sessions, I feel like I've learned enough to manage. Not only do you get the direct physical therapy, but they teach you about the stretches and management that you need to do. The staff are very friendly.

I had to wait few months for MRI appointment and see a specialist. I decided to try physiotherapy while waiting for my appointments. In my first appointment, Ali listened to me carefully, examined my shoulder, neck and limited movement. He diagnosed it's frozen shoulder, explained what are the stages of frozen shoulder, took the time to show me what muscles/tendons are causing the pain, what should or shouldn't I do and planed a treatment routine using manual stretches (very painful!!), Laser, ultrasound, Acupuncture twice a week. After few weeks, my range of motions increased and had less pain. He even thought me how to put a pillow under my shoulder and arm at night so there is less pressure on my shoulder so I can get some sleep. He is very professional, knowledgeable, informative and cares about his patients. I still book appointment to see Ali every couple months for maintenance and relieve the tension buildup in my neck & shoulder due to my type of work. You might not be able to stop the punishing passage of time, but at least you can get your body better adapted to it. Myodetox is the perfect place to help you with that. I've been going to Myodetox for months, and let me tell you, they absolutely know what they're doing here. My physiotherapist, Sabrina, is fantastic and I have been going to her regularly for months now. I've gotten random aches and pains magicked away in a 30 minute session. I have fixed issues that lasted for years in the span of weeks. She actively listens to your issues and prescribes the best treatment to target them by employing a mixture of hands-on treatment, exercise assignments, and even acupuncture. I also recently started seeing their new RMT, Mateo, and he's a perfect addition to anyone's wellness journey. I've had massages before, even massages at doctor's clinics, and yet none of them felt as clinical and effective as Mateo's. You're not just lying on a table and falling asleep for an hour. Mateo asks you about your problems, actively treats them, and (much like the physio sessions) assigns you homework exercises to keep the problems away. My back will be eternally grateful to his work. Myodetox definitely is on the higher range of the price spectrum but you will get the most bang for your buck. And if you've got benefits, there is no better place to use them!

Every other review site rated this clinic very highly so I decided to call here and make an appointment. Dr. Matthew was very welcoming and easy going. He was very engaged in learning my health history and how I've been suffering with chronic back pain for years. He completed his examination, which included a good amount of objective measures that we could compare to after some treatment. I was very impressed with his explanation about my problem and his approach to treating me for it. It made total sense, with a simple straightforward approach that would be reasonable and easy to manage. I received my first chiropractic adjustments on my first visit and could feel improvement immediately. On my second visit he introduced some stretches and strengthening exercises that I could do each do to support the treatment and progress as quickly as possible. I'm now two weeks into care with Dr. Matthew at Vellore Chiropractic & Wellness Centre and it has been the best decision about my back pain I've ever made. I'm very happy with my care and also with the service at this clinic and I strongly recommend Dr. Matthew!

I thought chiropractic care could be the end of my suffering... and was desperate for help! My first appointment was a consultation which is normal under the circumstances, since I am a first time client, but the more the appointment went on, the more I felt like Dr. Bortulussi was trying to "sell" me a program - almost like visiting certain weight loss centres or people trying to sell "multi-level marketing". I made a second follow-up appointment and low-and-behold - he was trying to sell me on a year long "better living" program upwards of 3.5k. When I insisted and only said I was here to be on a pay-per-session basis, he kept trying to insist that I would need the WHOLE program to feel better. Needless to say I never returned and went elsewhere. I don't want to be conned because I'm desperate to be out of pain. HE is con-artist!
