This prompted me to look closer at your environment, from the magazines provided to the imagery on the walls; the lack of representation is stark and exclusionary. Furthermore, I was deeply unsettled to find that the Office Manager brings her dog into a clinical dental setting. As someone there for a medical cleaning, I found the presence of an animal in a healthcare facility to be both unprofessional and unhygienic. As a white woman of German descent married to an African American woman, I have listened to my wife's accounts of "Sundown towns." My experience at your office recently mirrored those stories--a space that feels curated for one demographic while making others feel unwelcome or invisible. I am ashamed to have patronized an establishment that feels like a "Sundown office" for as long as I have. We will be transferring our records to a practice that prioritizes both clinical hygiene and modern, inclusive values.and DIVERSITY!

Fast forward 15 years, I was back and in need of some more teeth correction. Between my wisdom teeth growing in fully, and my lack of retainer-wearing as a teenager, everything in my mouth began to crowd. I really wasn't up for the idea of having a mouth full of metal as an adult, so I've opted for Invisalign! All the staff, including Dr. Race himself, are all incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable with making my decision. They've answered all my questions thus far, and made it clear they'll available anytime if I run into problems. My first appointment was a consult helping me have a fully understanding of what I needed, the process, and the cost. I returned for scans and X-rays they needed to create my clear trays. Then finally, a few months later, my Invisalign was ready! I went in yesterday to get them all fitted and fastened. Let me tell ya, it's a weird feeling and I already know it'll be a little bit of burden for a few months, but it'll certainly be worth in. They were able to show to a 3D rendering of how my jaw and teeth will move over time, and I cannot wait for the end result. Oh and as for their new safety precautions (re: covid), I would give them six stars. You can tell how serious they take the health of their patients and their employees. There's a clear cut procedure on when folks enter, with temps taken, reduced touching of anything, masks, hand sanitizers, and beyond. I'll report back when the process is complete!

My bottom teeth were quite crowded and I was hoping that I wouldn't require braces for work-related reasons. Dr. Kopicki explained my options in great detail and I was relieved that, combined with her care, Invisalign was a viable option. My experience with Invisalign was positive throughout the entire process, from the initial consultation to my last appointment. With each visit in between, they made my progress and subsequent care their priority. Some teeth moved as expected while others were more stubborn. Dr. Kopicki intervened to prevent setbacks and kept my teeth moving fluidly and on schedule.
