A large waiting area with Wi-Fi is available so you can work or whatever while you wait to be seen. The open concept has been taken to the next level here. All the space and comfort goes well with a host of whimsical artwork and the more than thoughtful staff that work here. I'm getting my bottom teeth aligned via braces, so I'll be coming here quite a bit until this treatment is done. This prompted me to look closer at your environment, from the magazines provided to the imagery on the walls; the lack of representation is stark and exclusionary. Furthermore, I was deeply unsettled to find that the Office Manager brings her dog into a clinical dental setting. As someone there for a medical cleaning, I found the presence of an animal in a healthcare facility to be both unprofessional and unhygienic. As a white woman of German descent married to an African American woman, I have listened to my wife's accounts of "Sundown towns." My experience at your office recently mirrored those stories--a space that feels curated for one demographic while making others feel unwelcome or invisible. I am ashamed to have patronized an establishment that feels like a "Sundown office" for as long as I have.
