I called to set up an appointment and Ashley, who answered the phone and took my appointment, was very upbeat and sweet. When I arrived to the office Ashley was working, and I have to say she was just as upbeat and sweet in person as she was over the phone. She had helped me filling out the paperwork (as I dont have dental insurance). Dr. Griffen himself, was amazing. He really knew his work, and regluded my retainer. The cost was very inexpensive for not having any insurance, and the work was done very well. Ashley again assured me that if there were any problems at all within the next few days to call them and let them know and they would get me in to fix the problem. I highly recommend this place for all your orthodontic needs!! Staff is very friendly, convenient location, as well as beautiful office inside. The place is clean and very inviting! I also love that they communicate via email, which is so convenient. They also worked with me on some insurance and billing issues. They keep it real. The insurance they take is unfortunately a little limited but I would definitely recommend Dr. Darling and his wonderful staff if you're looking for a dentist in the area.

At first, I was doing treatment with Invisalign. When I came to his office for a consult, he asked tons of questions about my experience despite what my previous Orthodontist was telling him. It was like he was wanting to know what I wanted to do rather than run with what my Orthodontist wanted. After I considered wearing braces and starting over because I was tired of waiting for Invisalign and felt that the progress was moving along too slow, he accepted me. My appointment wasn't until weeks later to make sure that I was sure about my decision and I didn't have to pay anything down until the braces were applied. Ever since the application of my braces, I've been very satisfied. He explains what he doing and gives me an update on how my teeth are moving. Since I chose the ceramic braces, he even gave me the option to come in more frequently to have the rubber bands changed because they stain very easily. I'm very happy with my results so far as it's been about 4 months.

The dental hygienist was extremely thorough with the cleaning and polishing of my teeth as well as the x-ray and physical exam of my teeth and gums. Dr. LaManna takes the time to explain everything that is going on with your teeth and gums. She also made sure to give me information about how to rectify any problems that I was having with my teeth. I would highly recommend the Lakeshore Family Dentistry office! I don't care to go to the dentist for it has not always been a good experience for me. I have found that I will probably be going to the dentist a lot more often now that I have found that Dr. LaManna and her staff. They made me feel comfortable and not afraid to come back.
