Dr. Tucker was thorough, honest and transparent about the procedure and outcome we could expect. She had the stem cell procedure in February, was on crutches for 2 weeks and was very mobile wearing a brace within just a few weeks. Her recovery and physical therapy outcomes have been outstanding. Before I could open my moth I was barked at and told to sign in and sit down. Exactly those words! I tried to explain that I was only offering my sons insurance card and to check on the approx wait time . Darnese at the front desk then barked at me again that only one computer was working and that I should sit down. I nicely explained that I was only checking for an update and to offer my sons insurance card. She then said she didn't have a computer and had no idea how long it would be. At this point I was pissed and told her that I was simply asking for information so I could decide if I should come back another time . She then barked at me that she had no idea. This woman is the rudest person that I have encountered in a customer facing position in a very long time . I will not be visiting Ortho Carolina again. This rudeness is unacceptable. This woman should consider a career change and learn some manners.

The therapist they have are so kind an help with any pain you may have after ice/heat or today they did the eletro pads not sure the name but I felt so much better. Still more treatment to go but they are not trying to sell you things its there if your interested. I will say from 2 years ago the young lady who was my therapy person is still there. Sometimes places shuffle folks around or they quit. If you have a joint issue or yoive had surgery n need therapy go to Orthocarolina Update : I had to have Dry Needling done , Im going to tell you don't be afraid Its different than acupuncture. Acupuncture just barely goes under the skin but dry needling finds that tight muscle an the needle goes right in to release the muscle. Yes its hurts for about a minute an I hate needles!!! RJ Myer is the only Physical Therapist I will ever let do this procedure :) He knows what he is talking about make sure you ask for him.

She CLEARLY did not want to inject and stated that "some people just insist on it" I stated I was one of those people!! She was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. Stated she would not agree to further injections!! I had good result from first injection, three months is about the lasting time for these and saw no reason that it should not be repeated--my choice!! It is -her prerogative not to inject again--which is fine, I can move on, but it's her attitude and treatment of patients that is horribly lacking! When I checked her notes from the visit, it explained we had "in depth" conversations about this process and future options!! Didn't happen! She rattled off with an eye roll possible side effects of injection, and that next time as she will not inject again, I would need MRI! That was the extent of conversation Have had positive experiences with Orthocarolina in the past but would never recommend or see Allie Kellie again under any circumstances

She listens and is willing to try anything to help. That is a very important quality for a doctor, but you can't find it in every doctor. It's totally worth the drive to have a doctor that cares about you. The girl that work at the front desk is also very helpful.
