I set the first box on the counter and told the two employees (who were just standing there chatting) that I had two more heavy boxes right outside the door. I walked out to grab them, and when I turned around, the two men had locked the door behind me -- at exactly 7:00 PM -- while I was still loading my other boxes. When I demanded my receipt for the one that was still inside, they reluctantly opened the door just to hand me my receipt (which clearly shows the receipt was printed at 7:00). I asked if they could take the last two boxes, and they flat-out said "No, we're not getting paid after 7:00," and when I said "surely your not going to be so lazy - that you don't work until 7:01, what would the manager or owner think???? Their response "We don't care what the manager thinks, we aren't getting paid." Then the other employee said "I don't give a f***!" As a mom of three and a local business owner who ships through this location constantly, I was shocked by how rude and dismissive they were. Zero customer service, zero pride in their work, and zero respect for the people who keep their store in business. This is how they treat people in the neighborhood and women business owners who supported their business! So, I took the plunge and tried FedEx as a last resort- and was very pleased that I did. I had a great experience with Casandra and Marco at the Glen Ellyn Location. My initial order was printed incorrectly, but their attention to the matter was handled very quickly- so quickly in fact, that I immediately placed another order for Vinyl lettering in which I needed for another client who was looking for quick printing. Cassandra and Marco communicated with me throughout the entire process to ensure my lettering would be ready within the scheduled turn-around time provided. However, on that day the print center they use to print the lettering just so happened to have machine a malfunction. Cassandra let me know right away, and sent my order to another local printer to ensure I'd receive my lettering on time. And to top it off, Marco met me at that location closer to my house with the lettering in hand so I was able to deliver the product to my client on time- and it looks fabulous! Very impressed with the extra effort on behalf of Cassandra and Marco to meet my business needs. I'm also very impressed with the quality of FedEx overall. My usual printers have lengthy turnaround times and are, as you can imagine, pricy. So if I can save money for my clients without affecting the integrity of my prints- it's a win-win.
