All of the above have been pleasant, quick experiences...and nicely located downtown! My only issue with this store is the parking. On most occasions there are adequate spaces to run in and run out, but if you need to pop in during a weekend day (especially between the hours of 9am-1pm), you might be SOL as Egg Harbor packs the parking lot. If you need anything shipping related (or even a greeting card!) stop on in at this UPS store.

Occasionally it can be 3 days depending on weather but most of the time 2 days. Last week I was sending a dress - very light package and figured about $25. I went to this UPS store because I was in the area. They said it would take 4 -5 days and cost $54. I asked about the 2 day groung and they said that would be more. I was shocked, when did this change?! I usually go to one on Arlington Heights Rd and by Rand Rd. The woman said that what all the USP shipping was for Washington DC. I took my package to the other store and it cost me $26 and it took 2 days to ship. I would NEVER go the UPS store on Wing street. They are ripping people off. When I called them and told them that it was cheaper and would get ther in 2 days the lady said - "You should go to that store than". You bet I wil lady!!

We needed several estate-planning documents notarized, and it can be surprisingly hard to find a notary who handles everything--signing, stamping, witnesses--efficiently and professionally. Here, it was seamless. Service & Experience *Appointment scheduling was smooth and flexible *Quick responses to initial questions about pricing, witnesses, and requirements *They provided all necessary witnesses on-site *The full notarization process took less than 30 minutes *Pricing was very reasonable given the number of documents we had What Sets Them Apart *Excellent customer service--fast, clear communication from start to finish *Clean, professional setup that makes the process feel easy and stress-free *They also offer apostille services, which is a huge convenience. Instead of navigating government offices downtown or waiting at limited DMV locations, you can simply make an appointment here and get it done without the hassle. Verdict Express Apostille & Notary Services makes a traditionally inconvenient process unbelievably smooth. Great communication, efficient service, reasonable pricing, and the convenience of both notary and apostille offerings in one place. Five stars and highly recommended for anyone needing document services in Chicago.

Avoid this location at all costs…read more I brought in multiple packages containing electronics worth $1,500-$2,500, totaling around 57 lbs. The owner, James Hibbs, treated both me and my property with complete disrespect from the moment I walked in--no greeting, just commands and a hostile, condescending tone. While I was making multiple trips with heavy boxes, he stood there and watched without offering even basic help. When I placed two packages on the front desk scale, he snapped, pointed to another scale right in front of him, and said, "That's the wrong scale. I told you to put them on this one." Moments later, instead of placing them on the scale he had just insisted on, he took both packages--together weighing roughly 25-30 lbs--and dropped them from waist height onto the floor, stacked on top of each other. The impact caused a loud thump due to the weight. Not the scale--the floor. When I called him out, he falsely claimed he was handling them the same way I did and said he "didn't care." Another customer nearby witnessed this interaction and even commented that this kind of behavior at this location is "normal." At that point, I told him I no longer trusted him with my packages and that I would be taking my business elsewhere. After bringing some items back to my car, I returned to the store to retrieve the remaining packages. That's when I noticed that one of the boxes had been tampered with--the tape on the bottom had been cut open. I had personally double-taped all of my packages before arriving, and that damage was not present beforehand. Fortunately, I had been carrying the boxes horizontally--otherwise the contents could have fallen out. When I told him this should be on camera, he claimed there are no cameras in the store. I asked the nearby customer if they had witnessed the earlier interaction, and they confirmed they had. The entire situation was unacceptable and humiliating. I ended up going to another UPS location, where a manager told me they were not surprised and had heard numerous complaints about this store. This incident has been reported to the Mount Prospect Police Department. If you believe your items have been tampered with at this location, report it immediately. Between my experience and the consistent pattern of similar reviews, it's clear this isn't an isolated incident--it's how this place operates. If you value your property or basic respect, go somewhere else.

The jerk now blames me, saying you're supposed to bring it to Whole Foods, 10 miles away. If the guy hadn't taken a shortcut and given me a receipt, would he have known I had to go to only Whole Foods? That's what you get when you hire a guy (child) to do a basic job.
