i have been Dr Orr's patient for over 3 years and never once he failed to give his full attention to my questions and concerns. I am still under treatment so i have been benefited by his up-to-date knowledge and remarkable patience. Many long time cancer survivors still come to see him almost as their family physician. I met several who travel even from out of state!
He takes considerable time with each new patient. All old patients there doing follow ups or having treatment know when Dr Orr sees a new patient (he does detailed review of all medical record, examine specimen, lab report etc), so we have to wait slightly longer. But we understand because we went throught that on our first consultation! The truth of the matter is that Dr Orr spends equal amount of time with existing patient as well.
His bedside manner is exceptional and indisputable. Foremost and all, he's a highly qualified expert in his field... hematological oncology!
The office staff is very nice - mainly the RNs - Delvina and Mario.. They are personable and caring. Front desk staff are rather perfunctory and not was warm as they should be because they create first impression of the office. If you can get pass that and actually got to see Dr Orr, your initial uneasiness will pale into insignificant!
Everything is wonderful about the experience of seeing Dr. Orr. There's only one legitimate complaint - the office is not spic-n-span as what I would expect to see in a doctor's office. Otherwise this office will be getting 5+ stars!!! read more
