Went in with my wife to get a medical examination for her green card application. First of all they…read morecouldn't even draw her blood correctly stating that she had little veins (even though she never had a problem like this before) and they continued to wiggle the needle inside her arm causing her pain. Now that can be overlooked and wasn't the real issue of why I am writing this. They needed to seal her medical examination and so that we can send it in for her application which they did and the reason why we couldn't check if there was any mistakes. We waited a few months and finally got our green card interview. After the interview was over, the interviewer said that in the medical papers, they did not date it (it was left empty next to the doctors signature). So he told us to get that fixed and resend it. We went back to the doctors office and let them know the issue and they acted surprised like it shouldn't have been something they missed. That they checked everything before they sealed it (which only adds to their incompetence). We now have to wait a minimum of another 60 days when we have already waited months to get this done all because of their mistake. We had plans to travel and she wanted to go back to her home country to visit her family and now it is all on hold until we get this resolved. This is the first time Ive ever wrote a review let alone a bad one in my entire life. But this is unacceptable. To make such a careless mistake as not dating the signature in such an important matter is now going to cost us months of uncertainty and waiting having her to prolong visiting her family which she hasn't seen in years. She sent me up to the 3rd floor for the blood work, very easy in this wing of the medical center. There was only one person waiting so I got in and out right away. UCLA Medical Center is the most practical and convenient medical practice I have ever been exposed to. When you're in their system, anywhere you go they can pull up all your records and see what's going on. And they usually send you a follow-up review request so you can let UCLA know how you liked your visit. The only unfortunate issue in this visit had nothing to do with the medical center and that was that my appt happened to be on the day after there was an underground explosion on Westwood Blvd., and the entire intersection by the medical center was closed! Luckily I know how to cut through the university so was only delayed a few minutes. Talk about your news trucks all over the place! UCLA Medical, you rock!
