Doctor and the staff members are good. Doctor and staff are good. But the only concern is co-payment. They told me that I had to pay my deductible every time I visited the doctor's office, even it's a blood test without seeing a doctor. Today's visit was for a blood test. If I had known that there was a co-pay for blood test without seeing the doctor, I would have had the tests done when I went to see the doctor two weeks ago.

Great Doctor. Very patient and knowledgeable. He takes care of my whole family, and I have never been let down.

Instead of addressing my worries, Dr.Gutierrez was dismissive and worried about her staff being overwhelmed with the request. She stated due to lack of staff, she would require me to pull the heavy grunt work with calling insurance, providing details, of what it will require to be approved. Despite me already doing that and informing Dr.Gutierrez that insurance states they need a prior-authorization request; she would not take the step forward with me to send in a pre-authorized referral due to the amount of time irk it will be for her staff. When I pointed out my dissatisfaction with the service, Dr.Gutierrez bluntly told me, "If you don't like our service, you can go somewhere else." I was shocked by this unprofessional behavior. A healthcare provider should prioritize patient care and empathy, not push patients away. I will definitely take Dr.Gutierre's advice and find another doctor who actually cares about their patients. I would not recommend Dr.Gutierrez or Memorial Care to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more compassionate and professional healthcare.

I scheduled my appointment in April for their soonest appointment in July and when they cancelled my appointment a few hours before my scheduled time, they couldn't reschedule me until mid October unless you take more time off work to work around their busy schedule. So I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone to visit UCI unless you never want to see the doctor for the few minutes they schedule you in for.

During my visit, I expressed concern about my 14-year-old child, who had a significant amount of protein in his urine -- something that this doctor himself had pointed out. When I asked if there were any further tests or evaluations we could do beyond a urine test, he raised his voice at me and said, "For the sixth time, I told you this is all I can do." He added, "Why are you asking this again and again?" in a clearly irritated and sarcastic tone. I explained that I was scared and just trying to understand how to help my son, who is in pain. I also mentioned that we had already seen his pediatrician, who is from the same clinic, and that's why we were seeing him now. He still insisted I go back to the pediatrician -- offering no support or effort to review the existing file or consider any next steps. His attitude throughout was unprofessional, sarcastic, and frankly, dismissive. I even had to tell him that my child shouldn't have to witness an argument between adults, especially in a medical setting where we should feel supported. I expected compassion and guidance, and instead, I left feeling helpless and judged. This kind of behavior from a medical professional is unacceptable. I hope no other parent has to go through something similar when they're already dealing with worry and stress over their child's health. Person who I had this situation with is PHAM,AN T NP
