I was diagnosed with TNBC IDC Breast Cancer in March 2022. After meeting several Oncologist to determine who I would select to be my Oncologist on this journey all failed due to their lack of empathy and not taking the time to select a treatment plan that was specific to my diagnosis. After failed attempts I reached out to my Primary Care Physician who referred Dr. Orr, as his father is a patient of Dr. Orr, and a Cancer survivor. I called for a consultation and was able to get an appointment within days. I was able to bring my support team to my visit, and conference call in my Mother in Law as well. Not only was I impressed with Dr. Orr, but my entire family was. His knowledge, patience, and beside manners were insurmountable. I felt like God answered my prayers by sending me a medical team that did not treat me like a number on a chart, but instead like a human being that genuinely wanted to help get me across the finish line. He listened to me and allowed me to ask all the hundreds of questions I had, and answered my questions in a manner which I could understand. I have been in treatment for 4 months now, and the ladies in the front office and my chemotherapy nurse have become family. Going through this journey with Dr. Orr and his staff has made the process less heavy for me where I can maintain a positive outlook and focus on my healing and recovery. I would recommend Dr. Orr to anyone I know battling cancer. Dr. Orr is truly the best. read more
